Today was a very important celebration for the Wizarding world, and we had almost no patients but the ones who would immediately leave the hospital wing.
Madam Matei was kind enough to offer everyone to go out for a couple of hours so everyone could enjoy the feast, under the condition that if anyone reached the hospital wing, we would have to go back to normal schedule.
And so we all reached the cabins to get ready. I picked a yellow wool blouse, black trousers and boots. I was just getting my hair ready when someone knocked on my door and I gave permission to come in.
"Oh hi (y/n)" It was Amelia.
She looked at me and then smiled "We were planning on getting ready together, are you up?" She asked offering her hand.
"Sure, thank you" I took it and she guided me to her room where everyone was sitting.
When we entered the room, everyone was laughing and they suddenly stopped when they realized I was there.
One of them was doing the others hair at muggle style, guess they wanted to kill time.
"Oh hi (y/n)" Pearl shopk her hand, which I responded.
Three new pair of eyes were over me now.
"(Y/n)! -A girl with dark skin and beautiful curly hair spoke this time, - we are so sorry for how we recieved you last time, we just had recieved some bad news, we really shouldn't have."
There's just one feeling that you get when someone apologizes sincerelly, making it pure rather than just a "I just do this to get out of a situation" apology, and this was the case.
"Don't worry" I replied with a warm smile.
"And I'm also sorry for how we rushed into you when we saw you hug Charlie, it wasn't propper" A shorter, pale, freckled girl - the one who was making everyone's hair- blushed as she spoke.
"Don't worry... do you have a crush on him?" I asked trying to make the environment less dense.
"Well half of the people in here do. -She let a little snigger- My name's Susan, by the way."
They weren't as bad as they seemed the first time, we actually laughed together and got to meet each other before arriving to the cafeteria, where Liam was waiting for me.
"Looking good, (y/n), love the blouse." He said whilst offering his hand.
"Such a gentleman." I said as I tapped his forearm with my free hand.
"Aren't you going to compliment me?" Liam dramatically complained.
He was looking great, I wish I could wear a suit as good as he does, besides, he did a good job with his hair.
"Well... no, why don't I leave that job to... what was his name again?Chris?"
Liam's eyes almost fell out of his orbs at the same time his face turned completely red.
"What? Why would I want that?" He said after clearing his throat.
"Come on! The sparkle in your eyes! I would say I know you very well, but it seems like I'm starting to-"
I suddenly realized, that he wasn't feeling good with me making this comment.
"Hey, Liam -I grabbed his face in between my hands- it's okay to feel that way! And I'm here for you."
He smiled so sincerely, it could have melted everyone's heart "Thank you, I was worried you wouldn't treat me the same" He said rapidly wrapping me in a hug and stood like that for a moment.
