{ Aribella's POV }
"Are you sure you want to do this? We can cancel the apartment and everything," my mother tempted me.
"I'm sure mother, we'll be fine-"
"Wait!" I hear a loud shout. I turn slightly and spot my fathers' massive self sprinting down the hallway.
"Yes father?" I question him.
"Marco's going with you," he stated. I, as per usual, had no choice in the matter.
"Pardon me, but why?"
"Protection. If anyone tries anything, he can hurt them. At least, severely injure them," he nodded proudly and patted the built young man next to him on the shoulder. I signed softly in content.
I gave my mother and father a hug one last time before I walk to the jet with Emma. I walk up the steps as she and I wave goodbye to our parents.

"Thank god that was over!" Emma praised. She isn't very fond of airplanes.
We walked out of the airport with me pulling my small suitcase behind me, and Emma having two duffel bags on each shoulder, featured with a large black suitcase in each hand.
"I want to fit in as much as possible, Emma, let me help," I practically begged her. She's never carried that much in her life. I was going to ask again when we notice a white limousine waiting outside for us. When we get in, we are asked by the driver, "where to ladies?"
"Ari, we could go to the apartment and get-" Emma started off but I interrupted her.
"Can we go to a pet shop?" I look at her hopefully. She looks really confused, "Why a pet shop?"
"Mother never let us get a pet. I want to be a little rebellious." She looked at me and her confused pout turned into a large smirk.
"Sweetie, that is only going to scratch the surface of how rebellious we are going to be in the next month."
"Oh no..." I whispered. This can't be good.
"To the pet shop!"

After a short car ride, we pull up to a small home-y looking building. We get out and quietly walk in to be welcomed by a warm and inviting lobby. There were small fenced areas for animals and a whole wall dedicated to pet food and accessories. This looked so cool.
I already knew that I was looking for a puppy, I have wanted one since I was a small child. Emma, on the other hand, had no idea. I slowly started to walk around all of the animal areas, and I knew this decision was gonna be hard... They all looked so cute! I walked to the very back corner and saw there was a small bed with one little puppy in it. It couldn't of been the bigger than both my hands cupped together.
I saw on the little sign that it was a female French Bulldog puppy. She was so adorable! She was a light cream color and had the biggest, round, brown eyes. I had brown eyes, too, so it was like we matched!
I picked her up. She was so dainty and fragile.... She reminded me of a baby deer. I let out a tiny gasp; That was her name. Fawn.
I kept Fawn in my arms as I walked around the small shop looking for Emma. I soon found her in play pen with a medium sized black puppy with floppy big ears.
"I seriously can not believe that you just did that," She sassed the puppy. The dog wagged its tail almost sassing her back with a confident look in its eye.
"Please tell me you are getting this one. It is just like you." I commented, slightly startling the small creature in my hands.
"What? No she isn't. I was just getting her anyways, look at how cute she is! She's a German Shepherd. I'm naming her Danni," She softly nodded her head as she looked at what I held in my hands, "are you getting that one?"
"Haha yep! Emma meet Fawn. Fawn this is Emma." I put Fawn right in front of Emma's face. Fawn then licked Emma's nose in the cutest way possible.
"That was so cute. I'm going to be sick," Emma faked a gag and pretended to be faint.
"Oh hush up," I scolded her. We walk to the wall for their food, leashes, beds, and collars. I even got a cute purse for Fawn to be carried in. After paying for them and everything we walk back to the car and drove to the large apartment complex we lived in.
To be honest it wasn't even that much of an apartment, it was like a house... A medium sized mansion.
"Good luck to fitting in," Emma scoffed at me and declined the drivers offer for him to open her door.
Marco opened the trunk and, in his deep Spanish accent, said, "allow my to help, yes?" And he took our bags.
"He's so hot..." I drooled.
"Too bad he shoots for the other team," Emma stated nonchalantly."Yeah," I sighed, "let's go on in."
