"Let me in Sun Hee. There is no use in resisting," His voice pierced my eardrums softly as his breath found its way to my nostrils every time his lips parted. Surprisingly enough, his breath smelt like smoke, as though something was burning inside of him. Despite it being a not so pleasant odor, there was something about it that made you want more of it inside of you, made you want him to breath as close as he could to your face so your nose can capture that smell as much as it possibly can. His dangerous proximity didn't fail to make my heart hammer against my rib cage, neither did the feeling of the soft skin of his lips against my ear. I could feel the hot air coming out of his mouth burning my ear as his lips formed into a slight smirk and parting to expose his two front teeth.

My eyes were shut tightly in fear of being captured by his demonic ones which were most probably really focused on my closed eyelids. Every touch I could feel, every breath that hit my face, and every small movement that I sensed caused my body to flinch. His fingers used my jaw as their dance floor, swaying gently across my skin, tickling it in the process and causing my already trembling body to shiver even more.

I tried to push my face away from his touch, but I couldn't. It wasn't that I wasn't trying, but no matter how much you detest his touch, no matter how much it makes you uncomfortable, you still can't bring yourself to push him away. That was his effect. That was what he was best at, and I was falling for it.

"Sooner or later," he whispered seductively in my ear, his lips getting as close as they possibly could to my skin, his fingers shifting to the opposite side of my face," You will open your eyes, and once they are, don't expect them to ever close again."

I woke up with a slight gasp and a rapidly beating heart, and of course the first thing I did was look to my side only to find Jimin gone. My eyes widened at the familiar situation and I immediately ran to the bathroom. This time, the door wasn't lagged and opened very smoothly, revealing a clean, blood-free bathroom. I let out a heavy breath and allowed my grip on the door knob to loosen.

He is safe. He is alright.

I let go of the door knob and walked back to my bed. My eyes fell on the slight parting between the two curtains that were behind my bed, and noticed the reddish color of sunrays as they found their way into my room. I have to admit, they actually brought some form of life into the room. Ever since Taehyung's death, I never opened my curtains, except for once and it was during the night. My room didn't see much sunlight since then and now that it did, I could immediately tell how dead everything was. Even my face looked so dull and lifeless. The amount of black under my eyes had increased significantly after not sleeping for more than a week, leaving my whole face looking so exhausted and dead. Was I to blame though? No.

Everything happened so quickly that it almost felt like I was getting one punch after the other with no prior warnings. My life took a whole turn and I wasn't really sure how to feel about it, but one thing I did know for sure was that whatever I felt wasn't really as positive as I would've wanted it to be.
