((Y/F/N)'s POV)
"One ticket to Argus please." I say with a smile as I pay for a ticket. "Alright, here you go Ms. (Y/L/N)." The ticket lady says to me as I thanked her and went to a nearby bench. I hear some voices quite a bit away from me. Ugh, it's those two idiots from earlier. I swear to god they never listen to anyone, do they? They seem to be bothering some kids. A few of those kids I recognize as team RWBY and most of JNPR. I sighed as I got up to tell them to stop. "Dee and Dudley, right?" I say as I approached behind them. They looked at me. "Oh uh- Ms. (Y/L/N)!" Dee shouted. "I believe I told you two to stop bothering people.....especially women." "No need to fret ma'am, we were just reassuring them that there is nothing to fear with us around." Dudley defended. "There's a clear line between reassuring and harassing and you two boys crossed it. Entirely." "We can make sure your car is safe too, ma'am. For a very generous tip." They just don't know when to quit! "Yeah, I got a tip for you." We all look in the direction of the voice. It's Qrow Branwen. Never thought I'd see him here. I've seen Qrow once or twice before if he was with James but never actually interacted with the man. "Buzz off. Looks like Mistral's really scraping the bottom of the barrel these days." He says to them as 2 of the girls make faces. "Hey, you're talking to-" "A professional huntsman, right." Qrow shows them his license. "Well it seems like one of you heroes left the staff entrance to the caboose wide open. It'd be a shame to lose your job before it even started." They looked back and then to each other. "I didn't do it!" "Come on, dummy. Well I didn't do it either." They argued as they walked away. "You know sometimes the burden of saving the world is overwhelming, but people like that come along and make me grateful it's our job and not theirs." The freckled boy said. everyone agreed. "Well put, kid." I said. Qrow turned to look at the others. "So, you kids ready to go? Bike all loaded up?" "Yep!" "Just waiting on Blake. As usual." "You guys wouldn't happen to be team RWBY, would you?" I asked them, even though I already knew the answer. "Yeah how did you know?" Ruby said. "That's because she's (Y/F/N) (Y/L/N). She's an old friend of General Ironwood." Weiss said. "I'm more like his shadow than anything." I said half joking. "So, what're doing in Mistral?" Yang asked. "Well, I was asked to be on a mission. I know James pulled his troops back to Atlas, but I was lucky enough to get the mission done before hand. The only issue was-" "Finding a train, right?" Qrow interrupted. "Yeah, because he pulled his troops back, I haven't been able to get a train back for quite a few weeks." "So you've just been stuck here?" "More or less." Then we hear a train whistle. "Speaking of which, I think that might be our train." I said. "Well what are we looking for, let's get going." Ruby said excited as she used her semblance to get to the train. "Hey, slow down there kiddo." I hear Qrow say as everyone tries to catch up to her. Well, this was gonna be a fun train ride. I smiled and started to walk to the train with them. I guess all the kids picked out the car they were staying in. I decided to find something to drink, all that excitement will make you thirsty...and hungry. I walked toward an area where there are refreshments and snacks. I see Qrow there too. Probably getting a drink. I guess this will be my chance to interact with him. "Qrow, right?" I said as I approached him. "Yeah, and you're (Y/F/N). Weiss made that clear already." "Right." It's too awkward! This wasn't going anywhere. "So, what business do you have in Argus? Are you going to Atlas?" I asked. "Yeah. I assume James told you about the relics?" He said as he looked around to make sure no one was around to listen. "Yeah, I'm the only one of his group that knows. Especially about Salem." I whispered the last part. "Great, that makes my job a lot easier." He suddenly frowned. "Then I assume you know what happened to Lionheart, right." I nodded. "Yeah. Word got out a few days after I finished my mission." "We're taking the lamp to Atlas, there, it'll be safe with the staff." I nodded. "It'd definitely be safe there." "So, was there a reason you were here or did you want to pry on my business?" Oh right. I was supposed to get refreshments. "Yeah, sorry. I was gonna get something to eat." "I'm going to see how the kiddos are doing. Yknow, to make sure they behave themselves." He said as he was walking out of the room. "Oh, of course." I say trying not to sound sad. After he left, I wallowed in self pity. My only chance to talk to him and his thinks I'm an awkward weirdo, just great. I thought to myself. I'd be lying if I said I didn't admire or look up to him but now he thinks I'm weird. What sheer luck I have. Why couldn't I get my brother's semblance. He has way better luck than me, always have and always will. Lucky you, Clo. I suddenly stop my thoughts when I felt the floor shake. I quickly run toward everyone's room, but it seems everyone was already going toward me. "What's going on?!" I asked. "Exactly what you'd expect. Grimm." Qrow said annoyed. "Of course. Let's go then." I said with a sigh. Then we all ran to the top of the train cars. We see all the Grimm in the sky. Then I turned my direction to Dee and Dudley defending the train. Then Dee gets taken by the Grimm. "Dee!" Dudley yells. "Crap." I muttered. Everyone, including myself, got our weapons out. "Don't let anyone else die." Ruby said and we charged forward toward the Grimm. As we fight the Grimm, I realize Dudley turned on the turrets. I think Qrow noticed too. Yes, it's killing them but it won't stop all of them. "Hey! What are you doing?" I hear Qrow yell to Dudley. I see the freckled boy from earlier run to Qrow. "How can I help?" He asked. "You can get that idiot to shut off the turrets. They're drawing the Grimm toward the passengers." Qrow responded. "Right." The boy ran toward Dudley to tell him to turn off the turrets. Then all of a sudden we see the Grimm stop. "Tunnel!" I hear. Then everyone ducked. I heard a yell of pain. Shit. We went back inside the cars to where Dudley and the boy were. Dudley got injured. Qrow walks toward him pissed. "I said, turn those damn things off." Qrow lifts up Dudley against the door. "Qrow, calm down. He's injured." I said. "Those things are keeping us alive." "Us, sure, but they're putting the passengers in danger." "I'm the one they hired for this job, okay? I'm in charge here." "Forgive me if I'm not exactly reassured." "Stop it, both of you!" I said putting my hands on each of their shoulders. Both of them looked at me. "Arguing is only gonna lead more Grimm here and is still putting everyone in danger." I said sternly. "We can still get these Grimm away from the passengers." Qrow turned back to Dudley. "Look, if you bozos had been doing your job instead of shaking down passengers, maybe we wouldn't be in this-" They aren't listening. I backed away and sighed. I saw Ruby approach them. Thank you Ruby. I thought to myself. "Please just shut off the turrets." She said to Dudley. "Trust us, we know what we're doing." Jaune chimed in as he uses his aura. "Fine." He said. "Thank you." I say relieved that the arguing was over. Then they discussed about how to mask the passenger's emotions. It's a plan that would work. The freckled boy walked toward us. "I'm afraid there's one complication." His voice seems deeper now. It almost sounds like.....Ozpin? So, I guess he's the next one in line then. "They're also attracted to this." He refers to the relic. "What's that?" Dudley asks, naturally curious. "None of your business." "Qrow." I say pleading there isn't another argument. "Oz, are you serious?" He asks. "Why wouldn't you tell us that?" Yang says angrily. "I-" "It doesn't matter right now. Every second we're on this train, we're putting everyone else in danger." "Ruby's right." I said. "Get the passengers to the front cars. You'll still mask the emotions and kill the turrets...we just can't come with you. If we cut the back cars with us and the relic on them, we can deal with the Grimm. You just make sure the rest of the train makes it safely to Argus." Jaune walks up to Ruby and says, "Only you'll promise to meet us there." "Promise." "Well, what are we waiting for, let's get the passengers." I say as everyone nodded and got to work.
~~One epic fight with Grimm later~~
We fought off the Grimm before it shoots one last fireball. Thankfully Weiss stopped it from getting to everyone else, but that meant we went off the tracks. I lose my balance easily so naturally this was gonna be a hard fall. I fall and close my eyes so at least I wouldn't have to see a gruesome injury. "Hey, Watch out!" I hear as someone grab me to protect me from landing too hard. I couldn't see who it was nor did I recognize the voice in the moment. Everything goes black.
