She Has Nothing Left Now, Because of Me

(Qrow's POV)
"Be safe!" (Y/F/N) calls out to me as she leaves. I stand there in surprise as I brought my hand to my cheek. I felt my face start to warm up. "Qrow, we need to get a move on." Clover calls out to me which brings me back to reality. "Huh? Oh right. On it." I said as I got on the ship. I sat down next to Robyn. "I saw that." She says to me. "You saw what?" Clover asks. I guess he overheard. "Oh, nothing." Robyn reassures. Clover sighed. "I'm not an idiot, you know." "We never accused you of being one." She tells him. "I know about a few certain whispers." He says. "What do you mean?" I ask. "I see how you look at my sister." He says as he looks at me. No one said anything after that. Until Robyn spoke up. "Do you approve of him, Clover? I love (Y/F/N) as if she were my sister and I can tell that they are meant for each other. And I'm not usually someone that says something as cliched as that." "I-" We hear the comms. It's Ruby's voice. I quickly got out my scroll. "Ironwood's declaring Martial Law and abandoning Mantle! Salem is coming and he's going to use the staff to move Atlas. If we don't stop him, Mantle's going to be des-" She was locked from comms. We all look in shock. Robyn and I look in Clover who is clearly as shocked as we are. Tyrian had gained consciousness. "Declaring Martial Law? We cannot let him do this." Robyn says as I'm trying to process what just happened. "Ms. Hill, I'm the General understands the enormity of his-" Clover says but heard his scroll and checked it. He gets up and walks toward. I'm not having a good feeling about this. I prepare to get my weapon ready. "Clover..." "Qrow, you should know that I've been asked to bring you in." He says as we hear Tyrian laugh. "A free ride and a show." He says. "There's also an alert out for team RWBY's arrest." I was shocked. "What? Has James lost his mind?" I ask. "He's trying to stop anyone who might get in the way of his inhumane plan. Looks like he underestimated me. Again." Robyn tells Clover as she gets her weapon ready to shoot. "Only Qrow is under arrest. After everything we've been through tonight, please don't make me arrest you too." He tells her, but she pulls an arrow out and armed. Clover gets his hook out. I intervened. "Cut it out! Both of you. We're almost back to Atlas. Let's talk to James personally and-" "It's taking a long time for this show to get to the good part." Tyrian says. "Shut up." I tell him. "He's right. Let's get this over with." Robyn is about to shoot. "Robyn!" I yell. She shoots and they start too fight. I sighed and got my weapon ready. "Fine." I say as I attack Clover. "I wish it hadn't come to this." He tells me. "It doesn't have to!" I tell him. Robyn steps in. "You can hug it out once we've taken him down!" We continue fighting Clover until we felt the ship move. I fall and hear Tyrian's laugh. I look up to see he's killed the pilot and is taking over the ship. I grab him. "What are you doing?" "The will of our goddess!" He yells as he steers the ship to the ground. Clover manages to escape as Robyn and I were going to get out but the plane crashes. I get up and leave the crashed ship. I look around and found Robyn on the ground. I quickly go over to check her pulse. I sighed in relief that she was alive. "Robyn needs help. Surrender and we can take her to Atlas, get her patched up." I look and see Clover. I get my weapon ready. "Never pegged you for the manipulative type, but I've learned a lot of things tonight." I tell him. "I enjoyed working with you, you know. Even with that endless cynicism of yours." "I'm usually proven right." "We don't have to fight, friend." I scoffed. "You don't know my friends. That's how it always goes." Clover sighs as we began to fight. After a few minutes of fighting I hear a familiar voice. Tyrian. "Oh, don't stop on my account." I growled. "Wasn't planning on it." I say as I attack Tyrian. I found myself in a three way fight. I go back and forth on attacking Clover and Tyrian. "Me and you have a score to settle." I tell Tyrian. "Oh, I agree. So what's say we put the kid to bed and then finish it." He says. I attack Clover and Tyrian joins in alongside me. Ok, so we're doing this. I thought to myself as Tyrian, laughing hysterically, and I both go fight Clover at once. During this fight, my thoughts became dark. Pitch black dark. I got my weapon out of my hands and I punch Clover from the side and he falls to the ground. "Why couldn't you just do the right thing instead of the thing you were told?" I asked him. "Sometimes the right decision is the hardest to make. I trust James with my life. He gave me and my sister a place to live our lives. I know you love (Y/F/N). She trusts you with her life and I wanted to trust you." My face softened from anger to shock and guilt. (Y/F/N)'s smile was in my thoughts. Thoughts of her gave me light. And here I was teaming up with a murderer fighting her own brother. Then, I saw the worst thing happen. Tyrian used my weapon and killed Clover. I stood there in shock as he stumbled forward then fell to the ground. "Doesn't look liek your friend's gonna make it." Tyrian siad. My thoughts became dark again. "I'll kill you!" I yelled at him. "Oh you mean like you just killed Clover?" He said as he threw my weapon on the snow. I stood there in shock. I looked at Tyrian in anger. "Ah, here they come. Right on time." He said. I attacked Tyrian with a punch, but dodges. "Looks like our score will have to wait. You know my track record with the authorities!" He leaves laughing like the maniac he is. I was going to follow him but noticed Clover and went to his side. This was my fault. "Someone had to take the fall." He told me. "James will take the fall. I'll make sure of it." We notice the sun rising. He chuckled. "Good luck, and please protect (Y/F/N)." He told me. I just nodded. Then he's gone. "He's all the family I have left." My eyes widen as I hear (Y/F/N)'s voice in my head saying that over and over. I yell. I look at Clover's pin, which is covered with blood. I took in my hands and held on to it. I hear soldiers come to take everyone to Atlas. Robyn gained consciousness. As I'm on the ship, handcuffed and all, I look at Clover's pin. I felt so guilty. I felt even more guilty when I thought How would (Y/F/N) take this news? She would be devastated and heartbroken that the only family she had left is gone. I didn't speak the whole way back to Atlas. When we got there, we got to our prison cells. I did notice something off. Normally I'd see (Y/F/N) anywhere, no matter where I'd be entering from, she's always nearby. I didn't see her at all since we got here. I sighed. Maybe she was told the news and shut herself in and doesn't want to speak to me? I wouldn't blame her. No one would argue the evidence that was right in front of her. I sat on my seat in my cell and looked at Clover's pin again. Every time I look at it, it makes me even more ashamed. I deserve it. I don't even deserve (Y/F/N)'s forgiveness if she even wants to forgive me for turning on her brother. I hear Robyn talk to Jacque who was in the cell next to us, alongside Watts. "This is your fault. You realize that, don't you? All I wanted was to bring people together. To give them a chance at a better life, but you-" "Me? I am a victim." Robyn scoffs at his words. "I admit I was duped. Used! And although my hands aren't clean, at least I am not a murderer." He's clearly referring to me. I looked up slightly to see Robyn look at me. "He didn't kill anybody. And I'm not gonna stand here and be lectured by some snake with a mustache who helped that man tear us all apart!" She yells. I looked at the cell Watts was in. "Yes, well...I suppose we're all stuck in it together now." Watts said. "Just speak for yourself. I know the right people. I'm sure Whitley has reached out to my legal team and will have me out of here before you can say-" "Shut up!" Robyn says punched the cell wall. We hear the door alarm go off. Someone is about to enter. I clenched my fist that is holding the pin. Three soldiers go and open Watts' cell. "You do realize you've already caught me." Watts said as one of the soldiers punches him. They drag Watts away. What is James planning? "I hate not being able to do anything." Robyn says as she sits down. "We can do something. We can kill the man who put us here." I told her.
