chapter 1- arriving at town

I'm moving into grandpa's old farm, used to visit him quite often even made some friends there, they where a blond boy and two girls one with purple hair the other a ginger, can't remember their names for the life of me
Those are your thoughts as the bus pulls to a stop and you see a ginger women standing at the bus stop, is that- no she's too old to be you past friend
As you step off she says to you "you must be (y/n). I'm Robin, the local carpenter. Mayor Lewis sent me here to fetch you and show you the way to your new home. He's there right now, tidying things up for your arrival."

You respond "thank you, robin was it"
That name bounces around in your brain as you try to remember

She responds "that's right, The farm's right over here, if you'll follow me."

You walk a small distance behind her and you shocked you've never seen so much grass in such a small area

Your shocked silence is interrupted by robin, "Sure, it's a bit overgrown, but there's some good soil underneath that mess. I think with a little dedication you'll have it cleaned up in no time." You both walk a little more and stop in front of a cabin "And here we are, your new home."

An older man steps out of the building and when he sees you he says, "Ah, the new farmer! Welcome! I'm Lewis, Mayor of Pelican Town, you know, everyone's been asking about you."

"Re-really, why," You ask

He answers, "well, It's not every day that someone new moves in. It's quite a big deal! So... You're moving into your grandfather's old cottage?

"Yep"

He says "It's a good house... very 'rustic'."

Robin speaks up "Rustic? That's one way to put it… 'Crusty' might be a little more apt"

Lewis responds "Don't listen to her (y/n). Anyway... You must be tired from the long journey. You should get some rest also the townspeople would appreciate if you introduced your self to them tomorrow."

You respond "oh, I'll try."

He starts to walk of but then stops turns around and points to a large box, "Oh, I almost forgot. If you have anything to sell, just place it in this box here, I'll come by during the night to collect it." Then he continues walking off, robin walks of a different way going behind your house

You walk into the house set your luggage aside lay down and just sink into the bed as you fall to sleep
