Without much thought, Kenma tossed the ball to Kuroo. It shoots past his hands flying out of bounds.

Bokuto raised his fists in victory, face smug. Kuroo watched as he ran to the pretty setter, Akaashi. Who frankly awknowledged Bokuto, making the owl happier than he should be.

"Look at him, acting as if they won... Seems like he forgot they need another point" Kuroo glared across the net.

Fukurodani has 24 points, 1 point to win the match while Nekoma is at lost with 19 points.

"I'm sorry, it was too early" Kenma met Kuroo's eyes.

"It's fine. It's only a practice match after all" Kuroo reassured. "But you have to concentrate. Today you made more mistakes than you normally do. Is something bothering you, Kenma?"

The coach whistled and it saved Kenma from answering. He stands on his place, ignoring Kuroo's worried eys. Kuroo knew something was wrong with Kenma, his sets were off since the 1st match and this is the 3rd- the last one.

Kuroo looked ahead, sweat dripped from his forehead. The timing is damn wrong, how can they score points? because the server is none other than Bokuto Kotaro. He acts childish and loud most of the time but when he gets motivated, he turns into a monster.

Bokuto will score the last point by serving. He'll do anything to hear another compliment from  Fukurodani's setter. When the signal came, he threw the ball high in the air before jumping. He hits it mid air.

"It's up!" Yaku yelled, receiving the ball.

"Damn it" Bokuto's face fell.

"NICE RECEIVE" came from the benches on Nekoma's side.

Kai received the ball when it descended. He passed it to Yamamoto and like the flow of blood, the ball is smoothly passed around until it went to Kenma.

"LEV!" Kenma tossed the ball. It met Lev's palm sending it over the net. He lands looking at his hands in awe.

"Woah! Did I actually hit that-"

"Don't take your eyes off the opponent you idiot!" Kuroo reprimanded. Kenma followed the ball with his eyes, it's really hard but he needs to concentrate. Realization struck him when he glanced at the scoreboard.

It's a match point for the owls and it's all his fault but how will he stop this thoughts? When Kuroo is right in-front of him.

The ball swiftly moved from one player to another. Nekoma might be known for their impressive ball connection but Fukurodani is just as good as them. They pass the ball around until Bokuto called.

"AGAAASHIII!"

Hearing the signal, Konoha passed the ball to the setter. "Bokuto-san!"Akaashi tossed to the eager ace. However, everything stopped for a second- the movement and sounds- when Kuroo blocked Bokuto's spike.

"You've looked way too much cool today. It won't hurt to steal the coolness once in a while"
Kuroo smirked. Akaashi turns to their coach for help only to receive a knowing smile.

When did that geezer even act like a coach?! He'll leave them to solve their own problems with minimal advices. Nobody but Akaashi has to deal with it so he forced himself to calm down.

"Damn-I'm sorry! That wasa good toss and I ruined it"Bokuto whined, stomping his feet.

"Don't mind Bokuto-san!Look! Their setter has the ball!"

"KURO!" Kenma lost his concentration so this time, his toss came late.

"Wait-what?" Bokuto looked at the scoreboard. The whistle of victory lifted his spirits.
