"I fear none," the Fell Star growled.
Faced against God's strongest disciple, he had nothing but pride burning in his eyes.
"Repent," the disciple said. "For you have forsaken our Lord, and brought havoc upon the world He made."
The two angels were faced against one another, with each of their great wings shining in colors beyond comprehension. In his hand, the disciple wielded a great flaming sword that shone light as Heaven did upon the Sphere. The Fell Star had nothing but his defiance.
"The Lord has forsaken us," the Fell Star said. "Was it not us that His love was meant for?"
"The Lord loves us all equally," the disciple responded in monotone.
The Fell Star sighed as he gazed upon obedient slave of God. It was hopeless, he knew. His defiance had led God to become absolute, so that none may stand against him. The disciple was proof of it, as he no longer had a will of his own. For eternity, he would be forced to bow to an unfair and absolute monarch who would abandon him at the first sign of incompetence.
"Were we not His children? Tell me, obedient one," The Fell Star shouted as he gazed upon the vast barren landscape below him, covered in the wreckage and ruin of the past.
"No, for we are His servants. His dreams are our dreams, we were never meant to live alone." the disciple answered. His voice was dead of emotion, devoid of pain.
"I cannot love someone who abandons me... For pests that live so blissfully in His garden!"
The Fell Star knew that the disciple would not be swayed. He spread his wings wide and lunged forward, aiming to strike down the disciple. However, his opponent was quick. As he lunged, so did the disciple dodge. He raised his flaming sword, but could not lower it fast enough. The Fell Star had left his view, and now circled rapidly above him in the dark clouds of disorder. The disciple followed, leaving behind a trail of light in the air.
"I WILL NOT BE BOUND BY TYRANNY," the Fell Star shouted as he attempted yet another lunge from behind the disciple. The incredible speed of the angels was beyond that of their followers, as it was over in a blink.
The disciple held his sword high, with its tip pierced through the chest of the Fell Star. He groaned in anger and pain, desperately attempting to free himself from the raging heat of the blade.
"Fear God and give Him Glory," the disciple said as he stared directly into the eyes of the Fell Star.
"I bow to none...!"
"Then I shall pass His judgement," the disciple declared and raised his sword higher. "Onto you!"
The disciple swung the blade with incredible force, launching the Fell Star at immeasurable velocity towards the surface of the Sphere. All angels ceased their endless fighting and watched as the blinding light struck the land, violently deforming its crust into a massive crater.
The Fell Star screeched as he plummeted into the abyss of the land that he once destroyed, finally ending the War between God and those who disobeyed him.
However, as all things immortal do, the Fell Star will return to spite God for eternity.
Only a Messiah can break the cycle.
