Loud beeping of your alarm clock woke you up, making you groan and rub your eyes. You opened your heavy eyelids, gazing at the digital clock that stood on the bed side table. Without any warning, a pair of strong arms wrapped around your waist, startling you.

"Chen!", you chirped happily as he took your hand and placed the ring on your finger. You quickly hugged him, your arms wrapped around his neck tightly and securely.

"So.. Does this mean you like it?", he asked you as you released him from a hug.

"Of course I do! It's beautiful. Thank you so much baby!" Chen grinned at your words. You remembered the chicken, quickly turning around at focusing your attention to the meat.

"You know Y/N.. I was thinking. Today is your birthday, it should be really special and.. Why making the party tonight?", Chen asked, leaning against the kitchen table.

"Do you have something better in mind for tonight?", you asked.

"Yeah, actually.. I do." You turned in attempt to give him a questioning look, but as you turned around, Chen kissed you, wrapping his arms tightly around your waist. You gasped in shock, but soon relaxed and just let it be. You kissed him back, your hands gripping at Chen's biceps as he deepened the kiss.

"Mmm Chen.. The chicken..", you mumbled.

"Just stop cooking, we won't be throwing a party anyway" At his words, you took the pan and the pot with the soup off the cooker before kissing Chen quickly.
