Kim Aera took a sip of her coffee hissing when the hot liquid burned her tongue. It was three a.m. but she had to drag herself out of bed since they had a new lead on the Black Fox Clan and after years of desk work and long night shifts she finally got promoted to a detective and not just that he was one of the detectives assigned to the many Black fox clan cases.

The black fox clan was the famous criminal gang that was leading the underground drug dealings, human trafficking and all other criminal doings in Seoul. For years they were trying to find any leads on who the leader of the organisation is, but alas with no success, Aera knew that when her Captain Lee Dohyun assigned her to the case that it was just to keep her mouth shut, not because she actually believed she could ever solve it. But now she finally got a new lead. A lead in the form of a 24 year old man who was currently in interrogation room 3.

" Park Jimin ! ", detective Min yoongi slammed down the file on the brunette's desk making Aera flinch in surprise. Even though she didn't have a single sip of her coffee, she abandoned her mug when the other gave her a nod to follow him. Aera picked up the beige folder and opened it when both walked into the observation room. Park Jimin, 24 years old. Delivery boy for Golden chopsticks. Born in Busan. No prior convictions.

Aera put the folder down and wanted to have a look at her ' new lead ', probably some shady dude with a stubbles and cliché scar on his cheek.

" Kid ? ", Min yoongi waved his hand in front of the younger's face," Aera ? "

Aera cleared her throat and blinked harshly. That man was not what she expected. At the interrogation desk sat a stunning beauty, blonde locks framing his angelic face, thick lips pressed together nervously and milky white skin knitted together in a worried frown. He wore a black blouse with red crosses on them and a silver earring in his right ear.

" I am sorry who is that ? ", Aera asked, that man in there could not possibly be associated to the Black Fox clan.

" That is Park Jimin ", the black haired said in a 'duh' tone.

" He is our lead? "

" Yes, we have reason to believe that the restaurant he work for is only a front for money laundering ", Yoongi explained his voice monotone as always.

" Okay and what does that have to do with the black fox clan ? "

" Well someone hasn't done their research? ", the black haired gave her a condescending look.

" Fuck you, of course I know the black fox clan is the overhead of literally all criminal doings in the city, but what make you so sure ", Aera grumbled annoyed. She knew working with the elder was going to be a pain. Usually the other worked on his own as he had a reputation for being a condescending asshole. His family had been killed five years ago and ever since then he had been the man he is now. But aside from his attitude he was an excellent detective.

" I have a source ", the raven said and patted her on the shoulder so she'd follow him in the interrogation room. Aera followed the elder into the room. It was stuffy and way too hot, the clichés were true, they tried to make perps usually as uncomfortable as possible. It worked 2 out of 3 times.

" Mister Park how lovely of you to join us ", Yoongi threw down the evidence folder, the blonde flinched but kept his gaze glued down, pretending not to notice their presence.

The raven casually pulled out a chair and dropped down," What? Are you mute? "

The blonde kept his stare on his cuffed hands that rested on the table.

" Look ", the elder continued annoyed, " we know that the restaurant you work for is a cover up for money laundering, so if you cooperate with us now, you might reduce your charges."

The blonde remained silent not reacting at all.

Aera scanned the perp. She was a fragile looking boy, he had a lean physique and doll like face. How could he possibly work under the reign of the most infamous black fox clan? But if he does, it shouldn't be too difficult to get him to crack.

Yoongi groaned frustrated," Come on babyface! We know you work for the black fox clan. We get to keep you here for 48 hours and believe me I will make you talk. "

Aera gulped, Yoongi was known too be a scary motherfucker sometimes. The perp still kept his silence.

Yoongi was about to continue, when there was a knock on the door. Chan Jiwoon one of the other detectives opened the door," Sorry to interrupt. Detective Min, the captain wants to talk to you. "

" I will be right back ", Yoongi growled in the blonde's direction, then stopped next to Jungkook," Pay attention to him, don't interrogate him while I am not here. "

" You knew the game and played it, it kills to know that you have been defeated. "
" Got it ", Aera mumbled and shifted a bit awkwardly when the door shut behind the elder with a clicking sound and it was only her and the blonde in the room.

After what felt like eternity Aera decided to sit down in the chair because it was very uncomfortable just standing around. Yoongi had told her not to interrogate him, but he didn't tell her not to talk in general.

" Hello ", she cleared her throat," I am detective Kim Aera. "

The blonde kept his gaze down, same as before.

" Nice weather today right? ", Aera continued, she didn't know if this was a strategy or if she just couldn't stand the silence," so you're a delivery boy? Is it true that you get to meet celebrities sometimes, I mean you probably get around a lot. "

Nothing.

" Listen... ", Aera sighed," I am on your side. "

The blonde chuckled dryly all of a sudden making Aera look up in surprise, looking straight into two brown pools.

"But I am not on yours."
