Aera could feel how her sleep deprived brain was making her feel all weird, she felt like her agressions were brewing under the surface. Shee took a sip of her coffee as she watched through the observation glass the blonde male who was just sitting patiently at the table where Aera had left him.

Park Jimin.

The guy that made no sense. He seemed to know everything and nothing at all. Aera knew Jimin could help them solve the case of the black fox clan.

"Aera the captain said we need to go home get some sleep", Yoongi came into the room," The other detectives are taking over for now."

"We only have 22 hours left. Then he's going to be out again. You know he won't last long once he gets out", Aera said looking at the blonde man again. She didn't know why she was trying so hard to help the man, it seemed like something is attracting her to him. She had some kind of feeling, but she couldn't tell what.

"Listen kid, this really isn't your concern", the elder said as matter of fact, " Believe me I want to get this over with too, but the Captain was persistent on this. Do you hear me?"

"Yeah", Aera tore her eyes off the man at the table and sighed, the captain had always been one to keep to the rules and wasn't exactly pleasant person in general," He'll die if we let him out."

"Aera. You really can't get caught up with some perp just because you pity him, he chose this", Yoongi said coldly.

"How can you say that?"

"Believe me kid, this is nothing new. The black fox clan is like a beast swallowing many souls in this city, anyone can be sucked into it. But what I learned is that nobody is an exception, don't be fooled by a pretty face", Aera swallowed deeply, but the other continued," now get your ass home. And I don't want to see you in the next seven hours."

Aera nodded, her head felt heavy, she spared one last glance at Jimin who had an empty expression on his face.

"Aera-ah?", Jimin smiled at him standing in the doorframe of his bedroom and somehow Aera found that it was one of the most beautiful things she had ever seen. The way the other's eyes crinkled into little crescents.

"Wait why are you in my apartment?", Aera asked and Jimin was now sitting on the windowsill just staring out at the night sky, his back turned to Aera.

Aera got up from her bed taking some steps towards the blonde when he started to speak in his calm voice," I don't know detective, this is your dream. So tell me, why am I here?"

Aera stopped and she could practically feel how Jimin was about to fall down ten stories down of her apartment's window,

" I don't know."

"You have found a liking in me detective Kim", the blonde laughed and it felt like the laughter came from all around the brunette.

"I am worried for you", the girl just replied simply and the laughter stopped.

"You afraid you can't stop the inevitable?", Jimin asked.

Aera still stood still a few feet behind him,"Maybe if you help me I can save you from this."

"But you can't", the blonde just said coldly," What makes you so sure I need saving..."

"You don't belong in that world", Aera tried to reach for the other but she couldn't overcome the distance it's as if Jimin was miles away.
