Priyanka's pov:
After a long flight from Toronto, my family and I arrived at our new home.
I immediately ran up the stairs and chose my room. It had a small balcony that was right next to the balcony of our new neighbors, which is kinda weird but whatever.
Our furniture had already arrived a few days ago so I only had to decorate my room and I wanted to do that as fast as possible because I hate it when my room looks this boring.

After about an hour of rearranging my room, I decided I needed some fresh air so I went out on my balcony and saw a girl about my age sitting on her bed and reading a book.
She looked ethereal with her long blonde hair cascading down her shoulders and her skin glowing from the sun that shone through her window.
I may have looked at her for too long because she turned her head and noticed me. She smiled at me and I thought that was the most adorable thing I have ever seen in my entire life.

I was so overwhelmed that I didn't even realize she started walking towards me.
She opened her balcony door and stood opposite of me leaning against the fence.
"hi I'm Priyanka your new neighbor", I said trying to hide the nervousness in my voice.
"Lemon" she said showing her beautiful white teeth and holding out her hand to me.
"that's a really pretty name ", I told her shaking her hand.
"thanks" she responded pushing a strand of her behind her ears.
"So where did you move from?" she asked
"Toronto",i said.
"oh cool and why did you move?" Lemon looked at me with her icy blue eyes.
"my mom found a better job here in New York," I told her fumbling with my fingers behind my back.
"That's great! I'm really happy that I finally have a neighbor around my age." the girl said with a really big smile.
"yeah me too,...I have a question.", I said awkwardly scratching the back of my head.
"go ahead" Lemon said with a warm smile resting on her lips.
"it's really random but do you like decorating rooms?", I asked
"yes I love it" she exclaimed and I could see her eyes sparkle.
"Great, would you like to help me decorate my room? but of course you don't have to I just want to spend some time with you and get to know you better but if you don't want to it's totally fine I coul-" I started rambling nervously until she cut me off.
"I would love to! I would also like to get to know you more", she winked, making me blush
Gosh Priyanka stop being such a lesbian
"Ok cool, so I need to get some plants and other decorations do you want to come with me?" I suggested.
"Yup let me just put on some different clothes and we can go"
"Okay I'll wait"

And with that the blonde girl walked into her room and closed her curtains.
