Third-person POV: Priyanka was woken up by a loud alarm clock, groaning and getting out of her comfortable bed. She didn't want to go to school. Everybody always talks about how amazing the first school day is. You meet new people have new teachers it's a completely new place but that's not how Priyanka felt. She never understood why people got so excited on their first day of school, it's just school nothing interesting, nothing exciting just a normal, boring school day.
She got into her bathroom, brushed her teeth, washed her face, put on some light makeup, and walked over to her closet to find something to wear. She settled on some white jeans a green turtleneck and a brown flannel. She looked pretty but not special to not stick out and stay unnoticed.

While walking to her kitchen she took her phone out and messaged Lemon asking if they could go to school together to which Lemon responded that they can walk there together since it's only a ten-minute walk.
The brown girl had some breakfast then got her bag, putting on her shoes, and exiting her house. She was instantly met with the familiar face of her neighbor. The smaller girl embraced her friend in a tight hug and greeted her with a simple "hey".
"Are you excited?" Lemon grinned and looked at Priyanka. "No, I'm not excited. It's a normal and boring school day I don't understand why people enjoy going to school," she explained. "Well I guess you are right." the blonde shrugged starting to walk in the direction of their school. "I'm always right."Priyanka pushed Lemon's arm playfully with a big smile on her face.
"We're here!" Lemon said when they got close to the entrance. "Wow, I already hate this place." Priyanka said in a serious tone making Lemon laugh.
They walked inside and Priyanka got a few looks but not too many people noticed that she is new. "Oh god there he is."Lemon pointed at her boyfriend, making Priyanka turn her head to look at the boy. "I don't think I can do this." the smaller girl started to get anxious. "Yes you can Lem I will be right there and if he does something to you he will get to know my fist." The brunette encouraged her friend. "Ok wish me luck." And with that, the blonde started approaching her boyfriend.
"Hey, Lucas."Lemon greeted him nervously. "Hi babe." the boy said making his girlfriend cringe. He wrapped an arm around her and pressed a kiss to her cheek. "We have to talk."Lemon started. "I think we should break up." Lemon said before he could even say something. Lemon saw the anger in his eyes but he didn't want to do anything because he knew that everybody including his friends would see it and he didn't plan on ruining his reputation. "And why is that?" The boy asked in a mean tone. "I just don't think we are meant for each other." The boy didn't react so Lemon just decided to leave with a simple "goodbye Lucas".
„You did it!" Priyanka hugged Lemon proudly. „Yup I feel so ... free now." The blonde smiled widely. „I'm proud of you." Priyanka patted Lemon's back.
„I think I have to go. I have to find my classroom." Priyanka explained. „I can take you there." with that the two girls started walking to Priyanka's first class.
„Ok, here it is. I have to go to my own class now see you at lunch." Lemon said and walked to her classroom.
Priyanka was anxious she always seems like a very confident girl that isn't shy at all and loves to socialize but right now she was nervous and scared. In her last school people called her too loud and annoying so she wanted to stay unnoticed and quit in this school. She had a completely fresh start and she could make the impression that she wanted to people.
She walked through the door and sat down in the back so she could be alone but as soon as she took out her stuff a girl with platinum blonde hair and cocoa brown skin approached her and sat down next to her. „You must be new. I'm Kiara," she spoke with a thick french accent. „My name's Priyanka and yes I am new here." She smiled at the girl next to her. „Is it ok if I sit here?" the blonde asked. „Yeah of course I'm always down to making new friends."
After a few minutes, another girl approached them. „Hey, Kiki. New girlfriend?" she giggled sitting down next to Kiara. „Funny. This is Priyanka she is new here." Kiara introduced her to the tall girl standing in front of her. „Nice to meet you I'm Tynomi." she held her hand out smiling. „Pleasure." Priyanka shook the black-haired girl's hand.
