* Scarlet's POV *
I don't tell anyone about last night's nightmare because I don't really think anyone would care. Not to mention that fact that it would make me seem weak in this hell hole or as they would like to call it the "care home . It's a care place but it's just not my home or a home to any of the kids here.
So when Charlie, a care worker, asks me why I screamed the place down, I shrug and say " felt like it." I actually like him since I think he one of the only ones who actually care about us and is there for us but doesn't take any crap. I respect that. But that doesn't mean I tell him everything.
"Right well next time try to do something about that. "
I would have normally come back with a smart comment about his life and job but since after that nightmare, I felt uneasy, usually it would have gone by now but something was just... I just can't put my finger on it. I dropped my plate and whatever that was left of my toast in the sink before grabbing my bag and leaving for school.
I mostly kept to myself around the care home but school was different because although most people knew I was in a care home, they didn't make that big of deal of that and me. To be honest, I don't think anybody cared enough but I guess being in year 11, with only about 2 weeks of school helped.
I managed to get my tutor room room but every step I walked was a physical pain because the minute I left the house, my an easiness turned to pain. All I wanted was to collapse down somewhere dead silent and make this over-taking headache disappear but all I had as the alternative was a hard, cold wooden desk and a room full of loud teenagers shouting over one another.

* Cole's POV *
The journey to London to "fetch" Scarlet was really just what I needed. Lia didn't take it too well though. She is somewhat jealous, full on possessive at times but there is also the fun, spontaneous and the inner deep good side of her, though I don't think that many people get to see this side of her which is a shame.
When she heard that I would leaving for two days looking for "some " girl and then mentor her, well I guess it's safe to say she hit the roof without exaggerating. Lia told me I already had too much on my plate with Luke and studies that I should go to Sherrie and tell her that but even as she said that, I could it see in her forest green eyes that that was not an option available. Even Raven's most feared platinum blonde knew that.
Another thing about Lia, with her figure hugging choice of clothes that suited her perfectly- 5'8, platinum blonde, unique forest green eyes and being one of the Revean's strongest vampire- she was the school's most popular girl, which for some reason meant the world to her, but she knew where to stop and who was higher than her. She has always been on Sherrie ( and all the teachers) good list because she knew what was pushing it and what was pushing the boundries too far.
Lia had no choice but to let this one this go even if it annoyed and pissed her of.
On Saturday morning, two of the trackers picked me up and insisted that they blind me till we got to solid earth. Raven was like an in-between place between Earth and the world beyond that. Once you were inside the gates of the school, there was no going back down, everything we needed was here; Cinema, all sort of shopping centers and the best places to eat out. It was like those college or university in Hollywood movie where everything is near or inside the campus. Except this was our whole world.
It drove me, and most probably other students crazy so when I got the chance to be on natural, solid ground Earth, I took it as fast I could. I would be able to see London for the first in my life though I doubt we would be doing much sigh-seeing. But it got to be better than nothing right ?
"We won't blindfold you but we will put a get Sally to put a spell on you so that you will be sort of dead till we get down to Earth." Ellis the tracker, must have read my expression because he soon added " Don't worry, we will take good care of you as instructed by Head Sherrie."
I was still skeptical about the spell as so many things can go wrong with spells, missing the time period being the biggest but it's not like I actually had any say in this so I let Sally, the other only Tracker with us send me to my temporary death.
~~~*~~~*~~~
From the start of her spell , I should have already felt weak and needle poking pain my chest (they told me what would happen) but I guess I must have died somewhere in my death spell because the next thing I know I'm gulping for air and looking around like a rabbit caught in headlights. And she must have wiped out my memory because I can't remember past Ellis, Lead Tracker telling me not to worry.
"Welcome back." I look up at Sally's grin and I give a tight smile as I mumble a thanks. I look around at my surrounding and I see I am inside a deep blue sleeping back and I see two twin beds in the rooms, a small coffee table and one of those old Televisions that no one uses anymore. Cheap.
"Where are we ? " I say as I sit up feeling myself getting back to life.
"A hotel near the girl's home and it's just past 5pm, you know the plan already right ?" Says Sally who seems to the only one out of Tracker who is seems even slightly interesting in answering my question. Ellis, is on one the twin bed next to the bay window on his phone. He glances around now and then but apart from that, I guess he decided to keep to himself.
"I think I do but seeing as I just came to back to life and you seemed to have erased my memory without even a warning , feel free to refresh my memory." I point out feeling peeved about having my memory wiped plus I was sort of hoping to experience after life. She just rolls her eyes at me playfully.
"Oh please, you missed nothing and I only erased the boring stuff you don't need to know but anyways the plan is that at midnight, we go to the girl's home, put a spell on her - and you- then go head back to Raven."
"Right well, what are we supposed to do till midnight, you said it was only past 5 now." I hoped they would suggest that we go check the area out, because I really didn't want to spend 7 hours Ellis and Sally locked up in a cheap hotel room.
But of course that's exactly what I have to do.
"I personally suggest you shut up and get some rest and Sally you look over the plan and what Sherrie said." Ellis Finlay decides to join our chitchat only to shut it down but Sally and I only exchange a look and do what we are told. Out of the three of, he is the one who was put in charge.
