"Diane...let me know what's wrong..I want to help" Jules says sobbing quietly.

"When the preacher talked about Jesus, I wanted to go out. I felt a strong need too..I felt this peace, it was so divine I couldn't express it. I didn't go out, Jesus wouldn't want me..I'm not worthy. I couldn't even be there for grandma-" I continue as the crying intensifies.

" All that happened to grandma wasn't your fault Diane, you have to stop believing those lies" Jules cuts her off.

"If I'm not then why am I feeling guilty..why do I feel empty, the dreams..the mark, why is this all happening to me." As the words come out, my chest aches and it feels like my heart would explode.

"Diane..Diane.. breathe, focus on breathing." Jules terrified, hurries to call Daniel.

" I ca..n't br..eathe." the chest pain intensifies, the walls feel like they're closing in on me and my limbs feel so numb.

Daniel rushes in confused and slightly annoyed until he sees Diane gasping for air. "Call 911!" Daniel says almost yelling.

" right..right where's my phone! "Jules runs to the kitchen looking through the cabinets impatiently. In search of her phone, Jules catches the gaze of familiar brown eyes.

"Johnny?..I though your were playing hide and seek with Mark"

" I won" he says playfully.

"Oh..ok then. Have you seen my phone anywhere?"

" it's on the dining table. Where's Dee? I want to show her my new Lego creation " Johnny replies.

"She's..umm..- Jules hurry!" Daniels cuts her off.

"Johnny, I've got to make a call. I'll be back. " Jules picks up her phone and immediately dials the number.

"911, what's your emergency?" A calm voice says. "Um..my neighbour's kid isn't breathing. She was talking a minute ago, then she started gasping for air" Jules replies.

"What's your address"

"15, blueberry avenue#116, PMB 442, Hicksville." Jules replies in a haste.

" alright, I'm gonna call an ambulance right away but for now make sure she gets enough air and focuses on breathing "

"Got it, thanks" Jules replies.

In 15 minutes the ambulance arrives and tension in the air is eased by the sound of the bell.

"Good! You're here." Daniel says enthusiastically as he opens the door for two female nurses.

Daniel leads them to the room while Jules struggles to lift an unconscious Diane.

"Sandra go get the stretcher" one of the nurses says to the other while she checks Diane's pulse.

In a minute, Diane's on the stretcher as the ladies carefully take her out of the building.

"Dee..Dee! What's wrong with Dee" Johnny, confused breaks down once he sees Diane.

" come here, she's gonna be fine " Daniel pulls Johnny in for a comforting hug. Mark and Sarah on the other hand, sit beside Jules wearing long faces.

I don't know what was going on but all I could feel was pain, in my chest, my hands and legs, in my heart. It felt like my emotions were draining the air left in my lungs and all I could see was..

Pitch black darkness.

I was afraid initially until I heared a voice followed by brilliant light. It was so bright I could see and feel it. I could sense a presence, different from the ones in my dreams.
