Chapter 4

                                                                                    Venus’s POV:

“So what do we do now?” I ask as Killian, Jared, Jane and I got out of the car.

“We do whatever we were supposed to do which is go to school and go to our classes.” Jared said throwing his arm around my shoulders.

“Hey now you two no sneaking off or anything we are still new here and need to learn to blend in.” Jane said.

“We wouldn’t do that.” I said taking Jared’s hand as we walking into the school.

“Well I have English, the science, math and ancient history.” Jane said reading the names of her classes off of a piece of paper.

“I have English first as well.” Jared said looking at his paper.

“I have history.” Killian and I said at the same time.

“Jinx.” We both yell at the same time.

“You two are weird… come on Jared we are going to be late.” Jane said walking off in the direction of her class.

“I better go; see you two later.” Jane said giving me a quick peck and all but running after Jane.

“May I escort you to your chosen destination?” Killian asked holding his arm out to me.

“Thanks, Killian; I wanted to ask you about Adelaide.” I said as we walked to our class together.

“What about her?”

“Don’t you “what about her me”; I have known you a long time and I see the way you look at her.”

“I barley know her, V.” Killian said.

“But you like her don’t you?” I asked slowly.

“Maybe but it doesn’t matter now is not the time for things like that.”

“You are just a chicken that’s all…” I said walking over to one of the tables.

“It’s not about being scared, it’s about figuring out if he can trust her or not.” Killian said taking his seat just as the professor came into the class room.

“What you think Adelaide met by me being a fae?” Venus asked as she and Killian walked out of the classroom.

“I have no idea but maybe asking here when we get home is a good idea.” Killian said.

“Where do you think she went today?”

“I don’t know but I imagine that it she does more than give classes here.”

“I wonder what other abilities she has.” Venus asked as they walked into the cafeteria.

“We have to ask her when she gets home and maybe she can tell us about our powers as well.”

“We hope so.” Venus said.

“Hey everyone.” Adelaide said walking into her house.

“Hey Adelaide.” Everyone said.

“How was your first day at school?” Adelaide asked sitting down next to Venus.

“It was fine.” Venus said looking at the floor.

“What’s going on guys?” Adelaide asked noticing that everyone was looking everywhere but at her.

“We were wondering if we could ask you a few questions.”

“Yes of course you can; what do you guys want to know?”

“What are fae?” Venus asked.

“Well fae is what you all are.”
