Two weeks later

Risotto was slumped over at the table he was sitting at. He decided he'd spend the day in the library to study, and to get away from his wild friends. This lead him to fall asleep as he was studying. No one in the library dared to wake him however, not even the librarian, everyone was too intimidated by him to go near him. Ghiaccio went to the library as well, his friends giving him the task to look for the silver haired man. He saw the big guy at a table and sat next to him. He pulled out a book to read and didn't bother to wake him, he knew how tired the man could get. He knew he'd have to wake him eventually however, but he'd let him sleep for now.

A few hours went by and Risotto hadn't woken up yet. Ghiaccio finished his book and put it back in his bag. He stood up and banged his knee on the table. "SON OF A BITCH!" He held his knee and saw Risotto waking up. "Good you're awake now, everyone was worried about you. Except me of course, I knew you'd be here." Risotto mumbled something incomprehensible and started to gather his stuff. People were staring at the two and Risotto focus his gaze back to Ghiaccio. "I banged my knee on the table." He answered before Risotto could ask. The tall man nodded and finished putting his things away.

The two walked out of the library and Risotto stared at Ghiaccio. Risotto was pretty misunderstood, everyone was always intimidated by his stature but his close friends knew that he was just very awkward and pretty friendly, he just had his boundaries. Ghiaccio noticed his staring and was irritated but gave him a soft smile. "What is it Risotto?" Risotto stared for a bit longer before speaking. "Ghiaccio. Meet me at the library again, on Sunday." "Ok sure....WAIT WHAT?" Ghiacchio's face flushed red. 'Did he just ask me out?! Is he interested in me? Or is this just a study or hangout session?!' Risotto's face was as blank as ever. "Is there a problem?" Ghiaccio shook his head and brought up the collar of his turtleneck up to his face. He lightly fanned his face to get it to cool down. "I like spending time with you, you.....get me." His voice never wavered as he spoke his mind. "So let's read some books at library, you can also get away from the others, they're too rowdy to do stuff like this." For once a small smile appeared on his face and Ghiaccio's eyes widened. "You're smiling....and you wouldn't even want to do this with Prosciutto?" Risotto shook his head and the smile quickly left his face.

As Ghiaccio kept thinking about his reading session with Risotto the rest of the walk was silent. When they arrive to the cafe everyone had already left and Ghiaccio sighed. "Want to change that day to-" His phone started to ring and he took it out of his pocket. "Sorry I-" "It's fine." Ghiaccio answered the call and put the phone to his ear. "Yes? Ghiaccio speaking......yes?....uh huh......no not at all.....ok thank you." He hung up and looked to Risotto. "I have to go, my job just called.....they better be paying me for this shit." Risotto nodded then turned his head. "You have a job?" Ghiaccio nodded. "I work at a ice skating rink, but I've got to go. See you Sunday Risotto." Ghiaccio walked away leaving Risotto standing there. He stared at him before leaving to go to his apartment.

The two hadn't seen much of each other privately since waking him up at the library, they were usually only seen together when they were with everybody else or walking to their night classes. Soon Sunday came and Risotto was waiting for Ghiaccio outside of the school. Ghiaccio walked up to Risotto and rubbed the back of his neck. "Risotto....I'm gonna need to cancel today....my boss called me and said I needed to come in today....one of my coworkers quit so I have to cover his shifts until we get someone else. I'm so sorry." Risotto nodded. "It's fine, work is more important, we can do this another time." Ghiaccio checked the time on his phone. "I gotta go!" He sprinted off to the ice rink. Risotto stared for a while before deciding to follow him.

Risotto entered the ice rink and saw Ghiaccio putting on his skates. He stayed towards the entrance so he wouldn't be noticed and he watched Ghiaccio work. Ghiaccio went onto the ice and started talking to a group of people on there as well. "He does instructing?" Ghiaccio did some tricks and the people followed. Risotto wasn't focused on them however, he couldn't take his eyes off of Ghiaccio. He was so graceful when he skated and Risotto was captivated. Once his class left Ghiaccio stayed on the ice, doing a few routines. Risotto went over to the counter and got some ice skates as well. He put them on and joined Ghiaccio on the ice. "Oh did you-" Ghiaccio shrieked and fell down after seeing Risotto. "WHAT THE FUCK RISOTTO! DID YOU FOLLOW ME? WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY ANYTHING? YOU SCARED THE FUCK OUT OF ME!" Risotto skated over to him and extended an arm out to him. "Sorry. Let me help you up." Ghiaccio grabbed his hand but instead of getting up he pulled Risotto down with him. A chuckle escaped his lips. "That's revenge." Ghiaccio pushed up his glasses and got up, helping Risotto up as well."

The skated for a while and Ghiaccio was pleasantly surprised that Risotto could skate so well. He wasn't as good as Ghiaccio of course but he was better than most. As they were skating together he felt Risotto's arm on his waist. "H-Huh?" Risotto turned his head. "Isn't this how they do it on tv?" The bluenette's face started turning red and he nodded. "In some routines...would you like me to teach you one?" Risotto nodded and Ghiaccio took his hand off his waist. "Ok, I'll guide you through it." Ghiaccio held out his hand and Risotto took it. They skated in a half circle around the rink and Ghiaccio brought Risotto's hands to his waist. They did another circle like that and he turned around to face him. "Not bad for a beginner." Ghiaccio chuckled before leaping into the air, spinning, and landing gracefully, extending out his hand again. Risotto was amazed and took his hand again and they spun. Ghiaccio then sat up straight. "That went surprisingly well. Let's go get some water, can't stay on here too long, plus they need to clean the ice."

The two sat in silence as they drank their water. But for once it wasn't exactly a comfortable silence. "So......" "So..." They both said at the same time. "I had a lot of fun today.." Risotto mumbled, earning a smile from Ghiaccio. "So did I." Another silence followed and Ghiaccio cleaned his glasses. He then stood up. "I should go clock out..." Risotto nodded and sat patiently as Ghiaccio left. 'Did I mess up? It seems like he doesn't want to be around me anymore. Should I talk to him?' Risotto's mind was racing and his heartbeat steadily increased. He didn't want Ghiaccio to hate him and all of these new emotions were completely foreign to him. 'Why do I feel this way? Why did these feelings just start now? I've known him for a long time now, but why am I feeling this just now?' His thoughts were interrupted by someone yelling at him. "Risotto! Jesus Christ, you alive in there? You spaced out." Risotto shifted his gaze to Ghiaccio. "I'm fine." A loud bang made both of them flinch and the sound of hard rain could be heard hitting the ceiling. "I didn't bring an umbrella." They said in unison. "I can go get you a umbrella-"

Everything was pitch black. "What the fuck?! Andrew do we have a backup generator?!" Ghaiccio said and some crash could be heard. "Ow, goddamnit!" Risotto took out a lighter from his pocket and now some light emitted from the flame. "Here, use this to walk around." Ghiaccio got up and adjusted his glasses. "Thanks." He took the lighter and went to staff only room. After about thirty minutes the lights were still not on and Ghiaccio came back. "We don't have a backup generator." He sounded irritated and Risotto patted the spot next to him loud enough so Ghiaccio could hear it. Ghiaccio sat down and sighed, his eyes widened when he felt a hand rubbing circles on his back. "Calm down, just breathe." Ghiaccio follows his instructions and took a deep breath. "Thanks.." Risotto nodded and they sat in silence again. "I'll be right back." He got up and went somewhere, Ghiaccio couldn't tell where he is went. Ghaiccio stared at the lighter as he waited for Risotto. 'I wonder where he went.' After some time he felt a presence next to him. "You're back." Risotto was completely soaked but he held an umbrella. "I brought you an umbrella. We can walk back to my apartment until the rain let's up, it's closer." "You didn't need to do that!" "Sure I did. Let's go." He stood up, grabbing Ghiaccio and pulling him up as well. They walked outside and Risotto handed Ghiaccio the umbrella. He opened it and put the umbrella over his head, they walked together and he noticed Risotto didn't have an umbrella. "Hey..." The shorter male sighed and put the umbrella over both of them. "You're gonna catch a cold."

They arrived at Risottos apartment and Ghiaccio left the umbrella by the door to dry. "Where do you keep your towels? We need to dry you before you catch a cold." Risotto pointed to a door and sat on the couch. Ghiaccio went and got towels and wrapped one around him. He took off his beanie, to Risotto's displeasure, and dried his hair with the towel. "Since our book session was cancelled can we reschedule? I had a lot of fun today but, I still kinda want that reading session." "Any time you're free." "Thanks." He dried off his hair and put his beanie back on. "Go get changed you idiot."
