Later That Night…..
Maya’s (POV)
I look in the mirror, finishing putting on my lashes.
“There, perfect. Now all I need is a little foundation and im ready to go”.
I grabbed the foundation and began patting away.
My mother always said “You’ll never find a princess in a loose tee and sweats”.
So I will not let anyone see me tonight looking like anything.
I had to go over board about what I was going to wear.
I have a reputation to uphold.
“Where the hell is my eye pencil” I said as I bent over the toilet to look for it.
“Ha here it is”.
Tonight I needed to find me a man, not any man but some one who could support me while im in college.
Someone who is nice, sweet, and funny.
Awe the thought of it made me blush.
Anyways back to this eyeliner.
I never could use this stuff.
I always feel like it’s going to poke my eye out.
My Eyes….
My ex boyfriend loved my eyes.
He thought they were so adorable and big.
I take one more look in the mirror.
Pushed my boobs up and was out the door.
As I turned around to lock the door, I heard a loud whistle, which eventually faded away as the crowd of boys walked down the hallway.
Yes. I looked good and that was my conformation.
William’s (POV)
Everyone was finally ready and we was now walking to the bus stop. I was already stumbling and we haven’t even reached the club yet. Nobody knows what would happen tonight. Maybe ill find a girl that’s good enough to meet my standards. Maybe ill find a guy that can put it down right. Eh…. All I know is.
“Im DRUNK BITCHES” I yelled loudly while we waiting at the bus stop.
“William, Do you have to be so loud” Mariama asked.
“Mary, Do you have to be such a goody, goodie”. I replied.
Everyone one laughed.
“Im not a goody, goody, and ill show you guys tonight.
Then destiny all of a sudden wants to catch a attitude.
“When is this bus coming”!! She exclaimed.
“Right, im wearing this little as skirt and its getting chilly” Anaka agreed.
“See now everyone can shut up the bus is now here” I said as we all got on the bus.
We got on the bus and sat down. We really didn’t talk. Just sat there quietly. Cars beeping their horns would often break the silence. I guess everyone was observing the city, New York. It had a lot of lights don’t get me wrong but we was now passing the bad part. It was dark. Really, dark. Bare and deserted. Lots of doors and windows boarded up or with trash bags on them. Lots of gangs and drug dealing. I just wanted to get out of the surrounding. It wasn’t a good look. We still sat silently. Until, he got on the bus.
