CHAPTER 6✓

"Good bye Mom" I got up heading out after breakfast . I smiled back greeting the guard that opened the car door for me.

"Good morning Lady Carter" A sexy thick harsh voice greeted the minute I sat inside the car.

"Morning " I responded avoiding any eye contact with the handsome creature before  I get lost by his looks . Causing a fool of myself . The car started moving heading out of the White House.

"My  behavior yesterday was uncalled for ,Lady Carter" he spoke sounding  ungenuine . Was he trying to apologize or was that his way of saying am sorry for my rudeness. I watched him with confusion by his sudden action. Looking at him I could tell it did hurt his ego apologising to me. Or did someone force him to apologise?

"It's fine". I quickly answered turning my attention back to my phone chatting with Tiff.

"Am Lorenzo Autro " he spoke confidently  breaking the silence in the car. At this moment I was feeling quiet awkward why was he suddenly talking to me.

"Well.. I guess you already know my name Mr Autro " I answered with a little smile even though he wasn't looking at me. While I took advantage to stare at him . Damn! The guy is really fine . I guess his girlfriend will be very lucky to have a good looking boyfriend.

" Address me as Lorenzo. Here are the rules kid . One, i don't oblige to your orders. Two,  don't f**k with me ,intesa ?" (Intesa =understood)

He said in a commanding tone driving . I gasped surprised his outburst.  Hello he did not just call me kid. Clearly he's got some mental issues . I rolled my eyes admiring how his muscles were showing through the shirt he was wearing . It a pity he is hot with a bad personality.

"Well that's unfortunate,  because you my bodyguard whether you were appointed by my parents or not meaning you work for me Mr Autro...hence I dictate the rules not the other way around...... oh and one more  thing Mr am a full ass grow woman you don't get to call me kid "I spoke smirking but it quickly got wiped off my face when he swiftly turn he head my attention  with a bombastic  and sarcastic side eyes giving off the are you being serious look . Earning an eye roll from me as I  alighted from the car with  the guard  from the car behind us opening the door for me. This Lorenzo he'll of a man was going to be trouble and I wasn't going to back down for him to treat me like some spoilt brat.

I walked inside the hospital . To see Dr Michaels waiting with a smile on his face .

"Good morning Dr Carter" he greeted approaching me with a smile as always. I greeted back heading towards the elevator.

"how do you feel having your first operation today ?"

" Well am feeling kinda of nervous but I hope everything turns out good " I answered rubbing my palm together .

" Relax Dr Carter , I also felt the same way the first time I was operating on a patient . Everything will turn out well " he assured leading the way to my first patient's room . Making me wait outside the door .

"Good morning Mrs Lashley hope you are fine ?" Dr Michaels greeted a woman  looking pale woman lying on the bed.

".....am really scared doctor". She answered back in panic.

"Don't worry Mrs Lashley everything is gonna be perfectly fine . You wouldn't feel anything once we enter the threater " he answered smiling before glancing at me.
