in the past

the rain started pouring on the couple as she rest in his arms. his tears were like waterfalls, watching as his soulmate stare at his eyes. he has never cried so much in his life before, he has never loved someone as he loved her.

"hey, taehyung." she cupped his face, his face resting on her palm as she caressed it slowly. he closed his eyes, tears unable to stop as he realized this may be the last time he feels her warmth, her touch, her voice, everything.

he started to cry harder, trying to talk and comfort her with hiccups in between. his nose was red, as she was so weak under him. her face was pale, they both knew she wasn't going to make it and that felt like it killed him.

"d-don't talk, you're going to make it okay? i promise you. we're going to have little babies running around us, we're going to be happy just like how you wanted. please, hold on, i can't live without you."

he begged, praying to whoever's listening to make her stay longer. his eyes were already puffy, his voice was shaking. he was so scared to lose her, she was the light, she made him happy.

"when i'm gone, please, move on. i love you, kim taehyung. forever."

he let out a scream when she breathed her last breath, screaming because of the pain in his heart. it felt like someone had cut them into pieces, stabbing it nonstop. he was shaking, the rain water dripping down on his forehead, as he held his lifeless fiancé in his arms. she still looked so beautiful, as the moon shines them both.

"why now? you're supposed to be happy with me! with me, building a family together, t-this isn't fair..."

he held her closer, hugging her so tight not wanting to let her go. crying so hard, burying his head on her shoulder as he form a fist and punched the wet ground making it bleed. but there was nothing he could do, she was...gone.

since then, he had promised himself not to fall in love with anyone ever again. the thought of even loving someone and losing them hurts him, and so he kept his heart to himself all his life. locking his heart to anyone, not interested in anyone, even. it makes him grew colder, and all he could do was remember the memories he had with her, with it slowly fading away as time passes by.
