Flashback

A/N: This isn't really a chapter,  this is for Nora, she's busy so... yeah, this chapter is just to clarify the whole hooded guys thing.

After Gray finally recoverd from teleporting he looked up at the man standing infornt of him and his expression immediately change into a scrowl.

"What are you doing here?" he asked with slight confusion the principal did say all the hero's got captured.

"Good to see you too son" Mr.Daniels said clutching his side.

"What the fuck are you doing here?" Gray repeat.

"I don't have to explain myself to you".

Gray turned to Jinx and she nodded immediately understanding,she turned to Gray's dad and her eyes started glowing.

"Leading 'The Retribution'" he responded.

"And what's that" Jinx asked.

"It's a new villian league".

"You're working for the Legion of darkness, what the hell,dad?, You're supposed to be a hero" Gray snapped.

Jinx tensed at the mention of the Legion, that's the only reason why she's here in the first place.

"It's not the Legion of darkness" his dad responded "it's something bigger and better, I'm tired of being a hero and thanks to your father" he turned to Jinx "I finally realized that".

"What are you talking about?".

On que Jinx's father came running towards them, in the same black hoodie as the rest of them but stopped dead in his tracks when he saw Gray and Jinx with glowing eyes standing in front of his partner "Why, hello daughter" he said with an evil smirk.

"Dad?" Jinx said finally acknowledging his presence making her powers falter.

" I suppose you know by now you know enough" he asked after a long, uncomfortable pause.

"You're betraying the Legion" she asked

"You're in the Legion of darkness" Gray asked.

'Fuck' Jinx thought, she hadn't really told any of her friends or in this case enemies that she was only really here to get intel on the Legion of Justice, she looked at Gray like a deer caught in head lights.

"Well, I'm not really betraying it so much as just using it to build my own empire" he explained still with the evil smirk

"Those Choas know about this" she asked Choas is the leader of the Legion of Darkness and her Dad is the second in command.

"Of course not"

"So what am I still doing here I thought I was supposed to be getting intel for the Legion".

"Nope, your working for 'The Retribution' and I and Mr. Daniels  here are in charge of it"

"Now to make sure this...information, doesn't go anywhere else, good bye daughter and daughter's friend" he said pointing his hand at Gray and Jinx.

"You're really gonna kill your own children" Gray asked their dads.

"All's fair in love and war " they said in unison right before an evil chuckle.

Gray immediately pointed his hand and froze them.

"Are they dead?" Jinx asked walking over to her father.

"No just frozen"Gray asked.

Just then two hooded guys came up to them.

Jinx's eyes started to glow but Gray immediately stopped her.

"Selena needs you guys" they said simultaneously.

"Where is she?" Gray asked suspiciously and two hodded guys just shurgged.

"Now?" Jinx asked him

"Knock yourself out" he said looking around for Selena.

Jinx's eyes started to glow again and within seconds the two men had killed each other and were now laying lifelessly on the ground.

"Over there" Gray pointed at Selena who was chatting away with Reyna while Elliquite attended to some injured people.

"You know what happened back there doesn't change a thing right?" Gray asked as they walked over to them.

"Wasn't counting on it" Jinx replied.

"You called?" They both asked Selena.

"Took ya long enough" she said rolling her eyes making them glare at her.

"Any who, we're going to Georgia" she said.

Gray and Jinx look at it each other and shrugged "okay".

Jinx and Gray didn't bother telling any of the others what just happened back there.
