"Oh, I'm so proud of you Mikey!" Ashley said giving me a big hug.
I smiled. "See? I told you I was capable of getting a job."
"You sure are." Ashley said. "So what do you do?"
"I'm a nightshift security guard and I'm like watching the equipment and the animatronic characters basically just making sure no-one like breaks in and tries to steal anything." I said.
"Seems simple. When does your shift start?"
"It starts at 12 and ends at 6 so I'm not going to be home until late." I looked at the time and it was going on 11:40. I sighed standing up. "Well I better get going don't want to be late on my first day."
"Alright, be careful." Ashley said and gave me a quick kiss.
"Okay." I said and walked out the door.

When I got there it was 11:50 good thing I didn't live that far away from the place. When I parked my car the parking lot was empty except for one other car and the Dining Area light was on.
I walked into the building and standing in front of the Show Stage was the manager looking at the still animatronics, he turned around when he heard me enter. "Mr. Schmidt, right on time."
I just nodded.
The manager handed me a blue shirt which had my name printed on it in big black lettering, a black tie and a dark blue hat with security printed on the front. "Here's your uniform."
"Thanks." I said as I took off my jacket and put the blue shirt on and buttoned it up and started putting on the tie.
"Alright, like I said before your shift starts at 12 so once your shift starts it the doors will automatically lock and they won't back up until the end of your shift at 6." The manager said.
I finished putting the tie on and then put the hat on and adjusted it a little so it could fit better. "Okay."
"Okay, come with me and we'll get you situated in your office." The manager said and started walking down the dark hall towards a room labled security office. The room wasn't overly big it had a desk which I had fan sitting on top that was running on each side of the room was an opening on the side of the openings were buttons a red one and a white one and on the walls were decorated with posters of the animatronic characters. Bonnie The Bunny, Freddy Fazbear (assumingly the main character because the place is named after him), Chica The Chicken (so it is a chicken and not a duck) and Foxy The Pirate Fox. I wondered if that's the animatronic that's behind the purple curtain beside the Show Stage that had the out of order sign.
So those were their names.
I sat down in the big comfy chair.
"Okay, so all you have to do is stay in here and keep an eye on things and the screen on the desk allows you to do those things." The manager said.
I looked down at the desk and picked up a screen and it turned around showing the Show Stage and the animatronic characters that were standing there. In the bottom right hand corner was the layout of the building and it allowed you to change the cameras location. I pressed one and the camera changed to the closed curtain where Foxy must be kepted at Pirates Cove. It was kinda cool, but also in the bottom left hand corner of the screen was a number that showed 98%.
"What's this?" I asked.
The manager looked at it. "Oh, that tells you how much power is left in the building. You see during the nights the building runs on limited power, so you it sparingly. Don't stay in the camera for too long or your power will drain quickly."
