(A/N: Thank you all so much for deciding to read Diskillination! I'm also currently writing this book but in an AU, so look out for that! I've had this book idea since the beginning of quarantine, so around April, and I've built a whole storyline. So here is me finally having the motivation to actually put it out into the world of readers! Hope you enjoy it!)

Edited to fix past mistakes, sorry for the disruption!

Have you ever thought about what it means to kill? It could be to end one's suffering or to end someone's reign of terror amongst the public. But the way they see it is bringing justice to the people who deserved some. To kill an oppressor, or to kill a tyrant in their own home. They see life as precious and important, but only those who cherish it, deserve it.

Hallie walks past Sam, slipping a small folded-up note into her school bag. She doesn't seem to notice and continues to head to class, her deep brown shoulder-length hair flowing as if there was a gust of wind. Normally she wouldn't have her head up high in the school halls, due to being bullied for her 'unnatural looks'.

Sam has brown shoulder-length hair. One side was shaved, and she had bangs. Kids often bullied her for her shaved head, or for the way she does her makeup. Unlike Sam, Hallie was fairly popular for her kindness and looks. Hallie has long, blonde hair that reached her upper back.

Hallie got along with almost everyone attending that school, but was aware of everyone's habits of making fun of Sam. Sam and Hallie were childhood best friends and were introduced by their mothers.

Sam gets to class and sits down in her chair. Like any normal anime protagonist, she stared out her window and waited for class to end. English wasn't her best subject, and the teacher was even worse. As soon as class ended, she looked into her bag to find her cell phone, but finds the note from Hallie first and opens it up. "Meet me in front of locker 303. We need to talk about tonight's plans. -Hallie"

'Why does Hallie need to talk to me? Especially in the first years' lockers. She can't be wanting to talk about tonight's plans, is she? We're at school!' Sam thinks to herself. She decides to not doubt Hallie and goes to meet her at the locker. Along the way, she hears a few snide comments about herself, but she ignores them for the sake of her reputation.

As soon as Sam reaches the locker, she looks around and sees Hallie also walking towards the locker. "Oh, thank goodness you're actually here," Hallie says sarcastically. They both start walking to their own lockers so they wouldn't hold up the hallway traffic. "So who and where?" Hallie says in a serious tone, "Kishi Masaru at 7501 Cherry Blossom Road, Tokyo, Japan, 160-022." Sam replies with her usual monotone voice, "Alright, cause?" Hallie inquires, "Knife, maybe?" Sam suggests. "I'll depend on you, Sam. Don't mess this up." Hallie says while facing Sam. "Yes, ma'am!" Sam says with a smirk on her face. The two girls reach their lockers and go to their next classes.

After school ended, Sam and Hallie met outside of the school building and started to walk home when they were suddenly interrupted by a man with black hair and blue eyes and was much taller than the two.

"Hey babe, hey Sam. How are you guys doing?" The man asks, beaming with pride and joy. "Hey, Alex! We're doing fine. You seem overly joyful, why's that?" Hallie responds, maintaining her easy-to-the-eye appearance, "Keep this confidential, alright? I was finally accepted into the Liberty Killer case!" Alex whispers, making it so only the two can hear him. Hallie and Sam both glance at each other momentarily, both seeming to be nervous. "That's great to hear! Hope you don't get too overworked, though. That would be bad." Sam says, hiding the nervousness that was flowing through her nervous system. "Finally! After like what? 4 months of waiting and authorization?" Hallie says, looking completely unbothered by his words. "I know, right? That process was so painful! At least I get to start working tomorrow!" Alex says as he parts to head back to his house. Hallie and Sam continue down the path to Hallie's house.

Hallie and Sam enter the house, being the only ones home at the time. "Thanks for letting me stay over," Sam exclaims, "I hope I'm not being too much of a burden to you and your family!" "No, no! My family loves you. It's rumored in my family that you're their favorite!" Hallie claims, "If you say so," Sam says, seeming exhausted.

As the clock strikes midnight, Sam and Hallie dress up in protective gear with masks, vests, and wigs. Hallie and Sam look over at each other while leaving the house, acknowledging what was about to happen. They head off into the starry night and go over to the target's house. Next things they knew, the two of them were already right outside of the target's window. The two hop through the window and shut it quietly so any sounds would've been muffled. Hallie nods over at Sam, signaling to do it.

Sam stands over Kishi with a long knife and stabs him in the chest repeatedly until he stopped struggling to stop her. Whilst Sam was dealing with the target, Hallie took the blood from the victim and wrote "Miss me yet?" on the wall in the language called 'galactic alphabet'. The two girls quickly left the crime scene and got home trying their best not to get any bloodstains on the way up to Hallie's room.

The two changed out of the gear and took turns in the shower. Whilst Hallie was showering, Sam put both of their clothes into the washing machine. "Man, I hate doing laundry!" Sam exclaims whilst stretching. "If you don't want to get caught, then you'll have to deal with it," Hallie replies, audibly tired. "I know, I know," Sam responds looking at the clock, "Damn, it's 3:30 AM already?!" Sam says, somehow shocked at how late it was. "Yes, now get to sleep, Sam. We have school tomorrow." Hallie says in a motherly tone. The two say goodnight as they fall asleep in Hallie's bed. The warm, fuzzy feeling of soft pillows and warm blankets soothe the two to an easy rest.

As soon as 7 AM strikes the clock, the alarm clock starts to make unsettling beeping noises, causing the two to wake up. "It's way too early for this," Sam complains, "Honestly, this might be considered child abuse." "Stop overreacting, we need to get going," Hallie says calmly. Hallie was a morning person, much unlike Sam, who despised the morning with a burning passion.

Hallie and Sam arrived at the school and the two separated into different groups of people. When I say groups, I mean Hallie goes to another friend group and Sam is all alone due to her inability to make a whole friend group. 'Damn, why'd she have to be so popular? I mean, it does make her seem less suspicious.' Sam thinks to herself. Sam had always feared accidentally talking her thoughts out loud, but right now that wasn't the issue. The issue was how she would get past the mean popular girls without being bullied. It was a near-impossible plan.

Sam tried desperately to avoid their vision when all of a sudden she heard "Hey look! It's the school's gay chick!" All of a sudden people are laughing at her for trying to duck down into the peaceful world of silence. I guess she can't have everything she'd hoped for.
