Edited to fix past mistakes!

"Alex, can you try to see if the hacker has left any sort of hidden message or link?" An old investigator had said, "Of course, chief." Alex responded, already looking at the document. Alex goes to the document and carefully looks through the message.

The message seemed like just an address, but his gut told him to continue searching it, even if there was nothing at the end. Alex looks around the edges of the doc, noticing a small image dragged off of the document so most of it was hidden. Alex clicks on the image, not expecting anything, but the image was connected to a link, which he obviously clicked on. The link sent him to another google doc, this one with more writing in it.

"Congratulations! You found me. I am Ant, and I know T-Rex is reading this. :) T-Rex, text me when you get this message, lol."

Alex stares blankly at the screen, not knowing what to say. "Who's Ant? And who's T-Rex? How does 'Ant' know that 'T-Rex' is in the room and reading the message?" The chief says, seemingly deep in thought. "Ant, you're such an idiot," Alex mumbles, hoping nobody heard him. "Alex, you seem to know something." A tall blonde woman says, "Oh- Uh-" Alex starts, "Who is 'Ant', and who is 'T-Rex'?" The chief asks in a monotoned voice. "I don't know anything about them, chief! I was just thinking about it, that's all. Heh..." Alex rambles, not breathing in between the words "You're SO lying, tell the truth." The woman says, Alex sighs "Ant is Hallie's best friend, Sam Shirodani. I am T-Rex, she calls me that for no exact reason."

"Wait a week until confronting 'Sam'," The chief starts, "Akamine and I will see how we should handle her." "Alright." Alex responds

(Back over with Sam and Hallie LOL)

"Why do you think he had to leave?" Hallie whispers over to Sam, curiously, "Isn't it obvious? He said, 'another note from the hacker?' " Sam whispers back, thankfully not grabbing Cynthia's attention, as she was eating, "They got our note, Hallie."

The class bell rang as the trio walked down off of the roof to the lockers. "I can't wait until break, I'm already sick of hearing the school bell," Hallie says, rubbing her forehead. Probably a headache behind that smile.

Geez, this is a short chapter, forgive me! School's back and I somehow only find the motivation to write during school. Also, please vote! It helps a lot and I want to get this story out there as I have spent almost a whole year designing the plot and characters by scratch with nothing but an empty notebook.

Until next time!
