The next morning, Sky got up from her bed and got ready for school. She brushed her teeth, combs her hair, and got dressed. Today she wore blue jeans, a gray t-shirt with 'LOVE' written on it, and a pair of white sneakers. She went downstairs and head to the kitchen. "Good morning."
"Good morning, Sky," said Bella.
"Hey, mom. Did you sleep well?"
"Yes. I did. Tonight I'm going to come in late, so can you cook tonight?"
"Yeah. I could, so don't worry."
Bella came closer to Sky and put her arms around her. "Please be careful," Bella whispered.
Sky was confused. She didn't know why Bella said those words with a worried voice. "Don't worry mom. Nothing is going to happen to me. I have to go now. I'm going to be late." Sky grabbed a toast with jam and ran out, slamming the door on her way out. Bella folded her hands together praying that her daughter will be safe.
Sky ran with all her might. The school was right in front of her but the teachers were about to close the gates. "Ahhhh. Please wait," shouted Sky. She ran with all her might, but suddenly someone grabbed her by the waist. When Sky turned around she saw Allaster. Grabbing her waist, he ran and jumped up the gate. Sky once again saw the wings on his back. They landed in front of the teacher. He was speechless. Allaster let go of Sky and smiled at her.
"Thanks."
"Don't mention it. You should hurry up and get going or else you'll be late," replied Allaster. He walked away, but Sky remained quiet and stares at him as if she was dreaming.
"Sky," called Maria. "Did you have fun?"
"Huh. What did you mean?"
"Don't play dumb. It's all over the school. Allaster holding you and jumped six feet from the ground."
Sky blushed. She remembers how big and strong his hand was. 'Was a boy's hand always that strong' she thought. "Sky."
Sky returned back to reality. "Oh. It's not like that. I was being late and he was just helping me. That's all." Sky was laughing nervously.
Maria was making a worried face. "Sky. Make sure that you don't fall for him."
"Huh," confused Sky.
"I've been hearing rumors that he's a playboy. That he'll kiss every girl that ask him to kiss them. Sky I don't want you get hurt so make sure that you don't fall in love with him. Ok?"
Sky's chest was getting tight. "Maria. Don't be silly. There's no way I'll fall for him. And beside he doesn't seem like that type of person. He was very nice to my uncle, so I doubt that he'll do that." Getting all worried and nervous. Almost wondering, 'Did he also take them to that place as well?'
Class was over and it was lunch time. "Sky," the teacher called.
"Yes sir," replied Sky.
"Can you take this to the faculty room? Give it to Mrs. Park." Sky took the clipboard with documents. Walking down the hallway. She spotted Allaster with a girl going at the corner, where people barely go to. She followed them to the corner. Sky saw the girl put her arms around his neck and whispered something in his ear. When she was done Allaster lifted her face and put his lips on hers. Sky eyes opened wide. She was in complete shock.
Allaster thought that he sense someone watching but no one was there.
"Here are the documents," said Sky as she handed the documents.
"Thank you, Sky," said Mrs. Parker.
Sky left the faculty room. As she closed the door Allaster was standing right next to her. Sky flinched.
