"How's your daughter?", Chris asked.

"She is doing great..."
"Well, besides that she doesn't know that I'm fired yet"

They both laughed.

"She is six years old now, am I right?"

"Yes, Rose grows up so fast"
"I wish she had a father role in her life"

"What?"
"Isn't she seeing her dad on the weekends?"

"No"
"Now that I am not busy with work anymore, her father suprisingly allowed her to stay by me"

"That must be very happy news for you"

"It is actually"
"I am so excited to see her again"
"But she grew up without me this past 6 months...what if she doesn't like me anymore?"

Chris patted Scarlett's upper back.

"You are a great mom. I'm sure she will love it to be with you! Especially after she didn't see you for months"

Scarlett smiled at Chris. He was understanding her feelings...so she leaned in and neared her face to his face.
