THE COLOR RED

CHAPTER 12

" Well, good morning. " She said in an overly excited voice. " Now this can go out two ways- " He cut her off before she could finish, boy he was going to have a painful death. 

" Let me guess the easy way or the hard way?. "  He said thinking this was obvious. She kept calm but her anger was building inside her waiting to have its grand entrance.  

" No, actually there is the hard way and my mind's way you choose." She said as she started going back to the weapons and trailing her fingers over them.

" What's the difference anyway? Both ways seem like they are going to end badly. But because I am a curious man let's go with your mind's way. " He said and I really pitted him the moment I saw Kayla's smirk. 

" I am glad. " She said as she picked a sledgehammer off the wall she went near him and said " We will have so much fun. " and started breaking all his bones with the sledgehammer. She is like Harley fucking Queen. His screams are like music to her ears she likes seeing others in pain as much as likes blood. She kept hitting him until she could see all his bones were broken some even piercing through his skin making blood sip out but she wasn't even close to finishing. He was close to passing out but Kayla injected him with 1milgram of epinephrin so he would stay awake. 

" Now are you going to tell me? " She questioned and his answer was spitting in her face she wiped away with a cloth and said " I guess not.  " She went and picked up a vial taking a little out of it and injecting it in his leg " That is a very dangerous chemical that will start burning your leg from inside out I can tell you it's going to be very painful. " She said just as he started screaming after burning his legs and one arm he finally started talking saying that this was planned so that Volkovov could take place and be the most feared man but also because he wanted to kill Allesandro. After he finished talking Kayla injected one last shot into his skull which went to his brain slowly killing him. She went to clean up herself as one of my rules is to never let Antonio see us at this state as me and the others went back up. 

" Girls show them to their rooms. " They all left with the girls except Alessandro who just sat in a leather chair as I went and put a glass of wine.

" Want something? " I asked him.

" Whiskey. " He simply answered and after making our drinks I placed his in front of him at the coffee table and sat opposite him.  We just drank our drinks staring at each other intently and for some reason, I was now starting to get aroused I cleared my mind from those thoughts and said.

"As it seems he was actually after you? I need to know why. " I said with power in my voice. 

" Don't we all? " He said being diplomatic. 

" Fine, I will learn it some other way. " I said smiling with my creepy smile. 

" You know you look a lot like Harley Queen. " I was surprised to see him acting so informal for the first time. 

" Really I thought Kayla looked more like her. " 

" No Kayla is more like the joker she is a phsyco but not smart enough. " I chuckled knowing fully well that if Kayla heard this he would die instantly.

" You know what you not actually as bad as I thought. " I said standing up leaving my glass at the table and signaling for him to follow me. I walked up the stairs with him close behind me and led him to his room he just nodded and went inside I walked up to the double doors of my room opening them and closing them after I was inside I got out of my clothes just dropping them on the floor and went to have a shower after my shower I dried my self and wore my silk pajamas shorts and shirt got under the covers and prayed for peaceful sleep but I knew better than that  

*** THE DREAM ***

It was a cold day today, the rain was dripping down the windows my little sisters were playing together with their dolls my mom and dad were sitting by the fire cuddling and I was sitting at the window ledge observing them with a smile on my face I may be six but I always acted more mature than other. My mom stood up and came over to me she took my little hand and gently tugged me signaling for me to follow her 

" Hey, sweaty pie do you wanna go to the pool? " I nodded excitedly because that meant that I would have some free time with my mom even if I was still learning how to swim my mom sat down at the ledge of the inside pool only wetting her legs and I sat beside her cuddling her 

" Diana I want you to know that I will always love you. " She said with her soft voice. 

" I love you too mommy. " I said but it was a bit muffled since I still had my head nuzzled to her side.

" Annelize! " My dad screamed my mom's name and she got up fast running to my dad and I saw her taking out a gun she always had hidden in her thigh I got up too but I slipped since the water had gone to the ledge causing me to fall inside the pool I started swimming but soon stopped as a big boom was heard and I saw the fire I only started swimming to the bottom waiting to see what would happen but I knew better than to swim up since there was still thing falling and fire but I couldn't hold my breath any longer so I went to the surface and got out running to see if my family survived when I entered the living room I saw the most disgusting thing I had ever seen it was the burned bodies of my family, my mom, and dad, trying to protect my little sisters I screamed their names and started sobbing so hard that I started hyperventilating and then I woke up 

***END OF THE DREAM***

Tears were brimming my vision and I was hyperventilating I tried to slow down my breathing and stop my tears and then I heard a knock at my door I got up and wore my robe and went to open my door to see there everyone some even with guns. 

" What are you guys doing here? " I asked 

" We thought we heard you screaming. " Said Luciano tiredly in need of some sleep.

" No everything is fine you can all go back to sleep. " They all walked away and as I was about to close my door in slipped Allesandro he started walking around I closed my door.

" What do you want? " He turned around and looked at me he came close and did the most unexpected thing... He hugged me at first I was tense and only when he said 

" It's okay to have nightmares. " Did I relax for some reason I felt a connection with this man that I couldn't explain at first I thought it was sexual but now I know it's something more?!
