Title: 5 marks

How unique and relevant is it to the storyline?

Cover: 5 marks

Can you find relevance to the plot(depends on perspective, though)? Is it attractive(general view)? Is the font good?

Blurb: 8 marks

Check for : is it hooking?
Are there any grammatical errors?
Does it give the right amount of details and ignite mystery?

Prologue and/or first chapter: 5 marks

If the book has a Prologue, give the marks based on it. If it has no prologue, give the marks based on the first chapter. It is important for us to know how much the first chapter of the book interested you.

Plot: 10 marks

We wish to know how much unique it is. A book can absolutely have clichéd elements, but is the writer able to twist them into something unique? We appreciate undiscovered ideas.

Characters: 8 marks

It is not possible to judge the characters by just reading 3 or so chapters. So we require the judges to read prologue+ 5 chapters, and if there is no prologue, only the first five
chapters. Again, slowburn books have a disadvantage here too since they can require 10 chapters to fully bloom, but judges try to give a justified explanation by reading the five chapters.

Grammar and Punctuation: 9 marks

We want the judges to tell the reason for deduction of marks or for awarding full marks.

Relevance to history or mythology: 10 marks

We are looking for books based on research, facts mixed with creativity.

There will be five judges: two hosts+ three more. Each judge will have six books assigned.

We require a review by the judge for each book. It might not be possible to tell about every point in a story, but it is MUST for them to talk about the points beside which we have the sign ⏺️.

We look for  impartiality. So if any judge is getting a book they have already read or is a supporter of that book, we shall try to assign another judge to that book. It is to keep things fair
