Daybreaker and Nightmare stepped onto the castle floor, their hooves tapping quietly on the surface. The guards at the door were sleeping softly and obviously didn't know they were there. They glanced around at the throne room, almost disgusted. "This place is much too bright for our tastes, 'tis in need of a nightmare's touch." Nightmare said, as the portal closed behind them.
One of the guards snored suddenly, and shot up like he had just been startled by a snake. He looked around suddenly as if he wanted to make sure he hadn't been caught. When he saw the Nightmares he grabbed his spear defensively and yelled, "Hey!" The other guard woke up and grabbed his spear with his magic, like they could stand a chance.
Nightmare snorted, "Look at these peasants, do they truly believe that they can defeatest us?" Daybreaker looked at Nightmare, "Calm yourself, sister. Maybe" she looked back at the two, pewny guards. " We can persuade them." She looked back at Nightmare.
The guards opened the doors and quickly shouted down the hall. In the distance, guards were heard shouting for more help and hooves galloping toward the room.
The Nightmares walked up to the thrones and stood in front of them. Guards began to pile in and get into ready fighting positions, right up close to them. "Perfect, our army all in one place!" Daybreaker said, a menacing smile spread across her lips.
The gaurds all readied thier spears in anticipation. "We'll never bow to the likes of you!" A guard from the back yelled. He was the only one who looked different from the rest, he was the chief. "Dost thou wish to challenge us?" Nightmare asked "We shalt leave thee in a deepest despair." Nightmare finished, glaring at him. "We only serve the Royal Sisters." He replied, stepping forward.
"Who do you think we are?" Daybreaker spat, venom in her words, frustrated that they weren't co-operating. "What have you done with the Princesses?" The guard said, ignoring the white mare's words.
Nightmare laughed at the remark, "Those things? We have simply disposed of the irritating pests! As for Princesses, peasants, bow down before thine new Queens!" Nightmare smiled menacingly. The guard cowered as the two princesses lit their horns. "Ready yourselves, stallions!" The guard's voice trembled as he acted like they could defeat the mares. He was clearly terrified.
"So be it." Daybreaker growled. In unison, they blasted beams around the guards whom dared disobey, leaving the guard to stand alone. All the others had all ducked and cowered. They had dropped their spears. "So," Daybreaker began, "would you still like that battle?" All the other guards slowly got up and faced the chief, awaiting his orders. The guard suddenly bowed, he'd rather submit then lose his or anyone else's lives. Like a chain reaction, all the guards bowed to the new rulers. The alicorns smiled evily and all the guards stood up.

Sorry this one is much shorter then the last, and I had quite a lot of time to edit and change this one so I got it done a lot quicker. I hope you enjoyed and would like to stick around for the next chapter.
