before Simon's letter...

Loud banging on the front door interrupted the uneasy silence of the Sidemen house. Josh had jumped up, running towards the door and
opening it filled with excited anticipation. He really shouldn't get his hopes up this much. The other's pitied him.

But they couldn't tell him to do otherwise could they? His eyes widened when he found three police officers on the other side, standing tall and intimidating with their accusing stares.

"We're looking for the youtube group, Sidemen? We believe this is their address."

"yes that is us"

The rest had gathered behind Josh now, they knew this was coming sooner or later. That's not to say they were prepared for their arrival.

"We will need to take you all for interviewing"

"Can one of you boys come get your mate
he appears to be having a panic attack, in mental distress at the very least"

Vikk immediately jumped up, following the officer to the interview room where Tobi was sat sobbing into his hands. He was shaking so hard he might as well have been levitating and his breaths were so loud and heavy the boy could hear them from just the doorway. This poor man.

"We'll have to schedule an interview for him on a different date, we cannot continue an interview in these conditions"

After being escorted out of the police station, Vikk took Tobi back home. Neither of them spoke again until the rest had arrived. And even then it was only a few words here and there when they had to.

He was absolutely losing it without JJ. It was unexpected to say the least. They didn't appear as close as they actually were on camera. They had a somewhat special, different bond; the fact he had no idea where or how JJ was, was tearing him apart from the inside.
