Killian walked into Neal's room as Neal was looking at the burn mark on his hand, Killian was holding a bowl of jello.
"Thought you could use some sustenance," Killian said as he placed the bowl of jello on the table.
"Nothing like a green blob to get the appetite going," Neal said.
"Well, I gather it has great medicinal properties," Killian said.
"Cali put you on babysitting duty, huh? She always did have you wrapped around her little finger," Neal chuckled, "Didn't they trust me to stay here?" Neal asked.
"Emma's simply concerned about you. She thought it be best you weren't running after your father... And Cali well... We know her threats for me are more promises than bluffs," Killian said.
"Thank you by the way," Neal said.
"For playing nanny?" Killian asked.
"For getting Emma the message to come back," Neal said.
"You would've done the some," Killian said.
"Yeah... What's it feel like to play the hero after being a pirate for so long?" Neal asked.
"Unfamiliar... And you... How does it feel to play the villain?" Killian asked.
"I'm a villain now?" Neal asked.
"Well, if you truly had a hand in bringing your father back, my sister would've joined you and I suspect you wouldn't allow her to darken herself because of Naomi so... You would've taken that burden and us the darkest of magic and paid an even darker price, though I'm sure you felt the ends justified the means," Killian said.
"... Where is my sister?" Neal asked.
"This witch has her locked in a cage, with a powerful barrier... Cali's torn up... You were both were missing, she was a mess and now your father is somewhere... She's... Well, an utter mess," Killian said.
Neal started taking off his IV and grunted, "I should be out there looking for him to set things right with him, my sister and my son," Neal got off the hospital bed and Killian stood in front of him, "Question is, are you gonna stand in my way?"
"I am in your way," Killian said and hugged him.
