Who Killed William?

Chapter 2

Luna:

Someone hid it.

Butler:

Is everything alright?

Luna:

The body disappeared.

Butler:

On its own?

Luna:

No, a Tooth Fairy took it.

Chef:

What happened?

Butler:

The body disappeared.

Chef:

On its own? Is he a zombie?!

Det. Benny:

No! The murderer took it. They don't want us to finish this business. Luna, come. We need more clues.

They are walking towards William's room.

Det. Benny:

This is all too weird. Why did he invite us anyway?

Luna:

He said that it is a celebration. Nothing more.

Det. Benny:

It's almost as if this whole shindig of a hootenanny was just a ruse. William was my friend. For years. But then he went quiet. I knew something was wrong, I just never figured out what. Now I guess I never will. There is a murderer here amongst us and we need to find him. So, the real question is we should be asking is: Who stood to gain the most from William's death? Now, in my thorough analysis, I discovered that in the addition to being stabbed, he was also poisoned, beaten, strangled, drowned and shot. In that order.

Luna:

Wow!

Det. Benny:

So, we're gonna have to do a detective-like thing and go through his most private and personal possessions.

They entered his room. It was in a huge mess.

Det. Benny:

Look for any clues. A small detail can be important.

They looked around the room. Luna noticed a broken picture with Mason on it. She wanted to show it to Benny, but Mason appeared in front of her.

Captain Mason:

Is the investigation going well?

Det. Benny:

Maybe, now leave. We can handle it.
