𝐓𝐨𝐧𝐢 𝐏. 𝐎. 𝐕 ( 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 ) { 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 12, 2023 }
"Did you make the list?" I asked Jonai as she sat on my couch writing things down.
Thanksgiving was coming up and I still had things to do for the shop and contracts and leases plus on top of that taking care of Kiamani and Kailani.
"Yes, and I called the realtor about the lease she wants to meet next week Monday at 10am sharp" she told me as she moved her leg away from Mazi making me nod.
Jonai has been a great assistant since I hired her. She doesn't ask about Kentrell or any of my personal life and she doesn't even attempt to try to record while she's with me to let people know she knows me. Plus she's great with Mani and Lani and I fuck with that.
"Thank you and can let my mom know that I need her take the kids the next week Monday" I told her making her nod.
I smiled as I grabbed a sleeping Mani and laid him in his toddler bed in his room. I made sure the baby monitor was on before walking out leaving the door cracked behind me.
"Oh really what's your favorite color?" I heard Jonai ask as I peeked around the corner seeing her talking to Lani.
"Gween"I heard her kiddy voice making me smile.
"Green, that's a cute color for a cute little girl" Jonai tapped her nose making me smile as I entered the room.
I walked into the kitchen and grabbed a water bottle before taking a couple sips and putting the top back on. I walked over to where Mazi and Lani were and picked Lani up.
"I need you to start packaging more lashes and things so that I can update the website, I'll be right back" I told Jonai making her nod as she got up.
"I gotchu" I heard her say as I walked off to Lani room going to her drawers.
"Pick out your clothes" I put her down before walking over to her closet.
I grabbed her towel and things before turning around seeing her throwing her clothes around her room trying to find something to wear.
Messy just like a damn boy
"When you done clean that up then meet me in the bathroom" I told her before walking out and making my way to the bathroom.
For her to only be 3 she understand a lot, my baby smart!
I hung her towel on the door and started making her bath water making sure not to fill it up all the way.
She likes to hold her breath under water

"You done now?" I mugged Kentrell through the phone as he ranted.
It's 11 at night, the kids are sleep, Jonai is gone and here he goes calling me because he's mad that I said he can't come over.
"Don't get smart for I come over there and fuck you up" I heard him say.
"You really wanna do that? I mean you woke me up out my sleep and you now how I get you really want your ass whooped if you come over here?" I rubbed my hands down my face.
"Don't talk like that, you know it makes me wanna touch you" I heard him say making me scoff.
"I'm bout to hang up" I said as I almost drifted back to sleep.
"Hang up and I'll fuck you" I heard him say.
"You promise?" Was the last thing I said before I gave him the dial tone.
I laid back and closed my eyes to drift off to sleep as I snuggled to my pillow.
As soon as I was going into a deep sleep the baby monitor went off and I heard Mani cry.
You would think once he turned one this would stop, NOPE!
I huffed as I got up and stomped to his room seeing him standing up on his bed making me grab him.
