If you've made it this far, I just wanna say, thank you so so so much--I know this is just a dragon fanfiction, and you probably don't know me that well, but as melodramatic and corny as it sounds, this series has gotten me through some really, really tough times.
A lot of the characters represent aspects of myself, heroes and villains alike, and in a lot of ways, this series has shaped who I am, both as a person and as a writer. I started it at the very beginning of high school, and as it stands I'm hopefully going to finish it a little before I graduate. I've known these characters for a really long time and I love them from the bottom of my heart.
This series has taught me how to write, and how to cope, and how to be brave in a world that feels scary and wrong. It's helped me understand myself through an outside lens, process a global pandemic... I don't know. I'm just really glad I posted it here, even if it's not always perfect and I'm sure there are things I've messed up. So if you've stuck with me, thank you so much.
I especially wanted to thank _creamtea_ and Artistic-Taylor, my favourite found family, and the people who have beta read every shitty rough draft, spotted my typos, inspired some of my best ideas, and put so much care into this story. They've let me gush for hours about these characters, and been endlessly wonderful and smart and kind. So, yeah, thank you. I love you guys!
The first chapter of book three will hopefully be coming out within the next few weeks! I'll keep you guys posted--so make sure to follow me/add my Timeline-series-related spam book to your library to keep updated. It's going to be focused much more on healing and happiness and stuff, and also everyone deals with their issues, and there's a road trip. So yeah, get excited??
Lots of love,
dragonwritesthings
