Authors note: I'm aware that the UVA historical theatre festival is only a play, although for the sake of the story I'm going to be turning it into a large-scale Shakespeare in the park type thing.
Also, this is almost like a filler. Meeting with old friends, subtle jealousy from Will, and meeting with an old professor. I wanted to create something light-hearted, as the next few chapters will be heavy.

Standing in the corner of Jack's room, he started to go through the rules again. Mainly the ones regarding me not allowed to be alone unless I'm in my hotel room. After he brought out four microchips, attaching them to our inner sleeves. "Can we please head out? I'm supposed to meet some people."
"Has that curator get word your back?"
"No, I dont know. But that's not what I'm talking about." I couldn't help but smile as I headed out of the hotel, Jack basically tailing me as we headed to the school grounds.
Jack was paranoid to say the least, his eyes darting from figure to figure as we went to the main building, about to pull out his fun as I stopped, seeing familiar neon green hair from years ago. "MAXWELL!" I screamed, running up to the gathering under the statue.
Jumping into his arms I wrapped my legs around his torso as he let out a laugh, soon after letting me go. "My god you still have your hair!"
"Oh, I see how it is, we're just strangers now." another voice said, Lizzie, having her hands on her hips with a cross face. Another just rolling her eyes and giving me a hug, Lizzie joining soon after. "My god you haven't changed."
"I could say the same!" I protested "Well, not exactly."
"You like em" Lizzie flaunted her pink and purple dreadlocks, unlike the short afro I remembered her by. "Hey, Mr. Crawford! Long time no see." She hollered, waiting for my Uncle to come over before giving him a hug. "Staying out of trouble I hope." He joked, giving a nod to the others there. "I will not confirm nor deny that." Noticing the other two joining the group, she squeezed my arm, urging me to introduce them.
"Right, sorry. This is Will Graham and Dr. Hannibal Lecture, my coworkers." turning on my hill I then went to introduce the others. "Okay, so the neon green mess is Maxwell, galaxy vomit is Lizzie, and the only sane one is Elise." Trying to hold back any more laughter, Max covered his mouth. "They were all in the arts with me."
"Not all, I'm still in school, trying to become a doctor." Elise smiled, the only one out of the three sharing real formalities and shaking hands with the two men. "It's a pleasure to meet you two." The three didn't know how to take my old friends, the neon hair really did throw them off, as well as my sudden outburst of energy when I saw them.
"I was only informed about the phenomenal programs for art, as well as science yesterday. I always love seeing young minds at work." Hannibal started, now in a conversation with Eliese about...doctor things that I couldn't be bothered with.
Will just stared blankly, mainly at Maxwell which I can only assume was because of the obvious. Max on the other hand didn't seem to be bothered, hugging me from behind, grabbing my waist in the process. "You need to come to New York for my next show, you'd love some of my pieces. I took a large inspiration from yours." Pulling out his phone (which almost gave Jack a heart attack as he reached for his gun yet again) Max showed me a sculpture of his showing a hand blooming out of a rose. "This is like the blooming ribs!"
"It was so beautiful I couldn't help it."
Taking the phone from him I slid through a few more pieces from his older shows. "I did not need to see that one." raising my brow Max was quick to snatch his phone away. "You're boyfriend?"
