I swear to god if I type the word 'pigeon' again, I'm going to break this computer. Sorry for not posting earlier.

Felix had heard from his uncle that he was holding a contest at his cousin's school to see who can make the best derby hat. And he was making him and Adrien model for it. What did he do to make him deserve the torture of that. At least he knows that whoever wins, he gets to wear their hat. And he knows how his uncle is with fashion. If they win, they'll at least have a competent hat.

"You only have one day to work on your fashion piece, and it must be your own design. In ten hours, your fittest presentation will be judged by none other than the greatest fashion designer Gabriel Agreste, the father of our very own student Adrien Agreste." Marinette rolled her eyes at that fact. It really wasn't a surprise or any unknown information. Everyone knew it. It was just causing him to get more attention. "In fact, Adrien's cousin, Felix, will model the winning design in his next photoshoot. And now to announce this year's theme: derby hats." Mr. Damocles told the class.

Marinette knew that she hadn't made any derby hats in her sketchbook. She knew that this would help her in the fashion world when she grew up, so she was going to enter it. She looked around and saw that she couldn't get any inspiration from her class. While looking around, she saw that Chloe was giving her a thumbs down motion. She ignored her and closed her notebook, determined to get some inspiration somewhere else.

//Time skip to when class ends//

Marinette was sitting down on a bench drawing out sketches for the derby hat contest. Alya was sitting next to her, scrolling through her phone and occasionally looking at Marinette's sketch.

"Hey, girl? Can I look at your sketches? They just look cool." Alya asked.

Marinette nodded at her and Alya looked through them. Alya, when she saw the one where it had a feather on it, made a comment about how Adrien was allergic to feathers. 'I'm not changing that pick just because he's allergic to them. He's not wearing it.' Marinette thought to herself.

Adrien had come over and saw the designs that Alya was looking at. "Wow Alya. Those are some awesome designs. I didn't know you had such mad skills." Adrien commented, making the two girls look at him.

Alya had given the girl her sketchbook back, which Marinette immediately put in her bag, and went to talk to Adrien. "Uh, thanks Adrien. But I can't take all the credit. These sick designs belong to Marinette. Off the chain, right?" Alya asked.

Marinette didn't look over at them and continued to go pack her stuff up. She was leaving to go get some supplies for her design.

"You're super talented Marinette. You seriously have a good chance at winning." Adrien said, prepared to be ignored.

"Thanks," Marinette said blankly. "I gotta go and get the hat done. See you later Alya." Marinette said leaving the school, ignoring Adrien.

Adrien sighed as she left and went to Gorilla so he could go home.

When Adrien got to the manor, he went straight to Felix's room and knocked. When he opened the door, Adrien went to go sit on his couch, not even acknowledging that Felix didn't even let him in yet.

"Felix, there's this girl that doesn't like me. I want to be her friend, but she just never looks at my direction. She acts like I don't exist." Adrien told him.

Felix was thinking about that one girl that just ignored his cousin the other day. "Was it the girl with the two twin pigtails. Wears pink?" Felix questioned.
