Miraculously Felinette

CHAPTER 6: COPYCAT

We are almost at the reveal. The chapter after next is it. So since we had more votes for Ladybug, we're doing Ladybug getting hit by Dark Cupid's arrow instead of Chat Noir. Wonder how Imma write that. 

Marinette and Felix had the rest of their day cleared. They needed it so that they could go out to the unveiling of their sculptures.

They had transformed and left their houses. On Ladybug's way to the park, she saw that Chat Noir was almost there. Quickly, the two heroes made their way to the park.

Ladybug and Chat Noir dropped down unexpectedly and everyone cheered for them. They went over to the statue and stared at it. It was beautiful. The only thing about it was that Ladybug was staring at the statue of Chat Noir a bit too long, and Chat Noir was staring at Ladybug a bit too long.

Mayor Bourgeois had started the ceremony, getting the two out of their trance.

"It is only proper for Paris to pay homage to those who protect us from evil." The mayor told everyone there.

People had started asking for pictures, questions, and autographs from the two superheroes. The two were happy that their fans were happy and happily obliged to them. Theo was waiting until Ladybug had few people left so that he could ask her.

Minutes later, Chat Noir had a lot more people than Ladybug. Theo decided to go up to Ladybug.

"Ladybug, could you sign this picture?" Theo asked Ladybug, holding a picture of her and a pen to her. She nodded and signed it. When she got done signing it, she looked over to Chat Noir and had a lovesick smile on her face.

Ladybug handed Theo his photo and pen back. "So, are you and Chat Noir dating?" He asked.

"I wish. He's kind, generous, smart. I could go on." Ladybug said with a lovesick sigh.

Theo became mad. He had lost his chance with her. She looked like she only had eyes for the other hero. What did Chat Noir have that he didn't have? What did she see in him?

Theo had left the scene, angrily. He stormed off to his studio. Not too long later, he was saying a phrase that no one should dare utter. "The thought of it makes me purr." After those words, purple bubbles washed over him.

The two heroes had made it home after the event. Marinette decided to see if her suspicions were true. She had looked up Felix and had found a full body photo of him. She was going to print the picture, using her phone, until she saw a report about the person she loved.

Felix arrived at home and didn't see his cousin. He was going to ask Marinette if she could hang out with him, until he got an alert about him.

"What the-" The two said out loud.

" And in some astonishing news, there's been a spectacular theft at the Louvre. Amateur video showed without a shadow of a doubt that the thief is none other than the famous hero, Cat Noir." Nadia said.

"He would never do that!" Marinette exclaimed after watching what happened.

"I didn't do that!" Felix exclaimed.

"He/I was framed!" The two said out loud.

"Marinette, if you want to figure out more about what happened, transform." Tikki told her.

"Kid, just transform and see what happened." Plagg told him.

"Tikki, spots on!"

"Plagg, claws out!"

Chat Noir decided to hide in the shadows to go see what was happening. He knew he shouldn't have been in the open with everyone thinking he was a criminal. If anything, he could ask Ladybug to vouch for him, since they saw each other not even a full five minutes ago.
