CHAPTER 8: DARK CUPID

The moment we've been waiting for, the reveal! Anyways, I put DC instead of Dark Cupid because I'm lazy. Anyways, I'm not sure if it got in the last chapter, but everyone thinks that Marinette's hate for Adrien is actually her love in disguise. This chapter has Ladybug hit by the arrow. But Chat Noir.....

Marinette woke up the next morning happier than usual. She had all of her stuff together before Tikki woke up. She knew that on that day, she now has a boyfriend, and because of that, she already had a valentine. She was sure going to make him something for it.

Felix had woken up in a better mood than usual. Before Nathalie came into his room to wake him, she found him already dressed, on his computer in his room. Felix, on his computer, was trying to find a gift for his lady. After all, it was Valentines day. He could spoil her if he wanted.

When Felix came down for breakfast, he saw his cousin already there. When he sat down, Adrien just started speaking out his thoughts so others could hear it.

"If I asked Ladybug to be my Valentine, do you think she would accept it?" Felix didn't even answer it. He just smirked. The thought of seeing his girlfriend rejecting him would bring a smile to his face.

"Girl, what's gotten you more happy than usual? You are just radiating sunshine." Alya commented to Marinette when she saw her.

"Nothing." Marinette lied.

"Is it because of a certain someone?" Alya asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Huh?" Marinette asked, confused.

"I'm talking about Adrien. No one could hate him. You must like him." Alya explained to her. Marinette's face darkened at that.

"I don't like him. I hate him. We aren't friends. Not now, not later, not ever." Marinette said.

Alya said a sarcastic sure and left the girl. Marinette focused her concentration on happy thoughts. She didn't want to get in trouble.

Marinette was staring at the back of Adrien's head. And sees he was writing a letter. Her, knowing it was Valentine's Day, felt bad for whoever he was writing to.

After class, Marinette dug into the trash to see what typeof love note that Adrien had written. When she read the words "bluebell eyes", she threw it back away.

"Well, well Marinette. Looking for something to eat?" Chloe said to her, making her presence known.

"Maybe she's looking for better clothes." Sabrina added.

"I know you two aren't talking." Marinette said back to them. Seeing their appalled faces, she continued. "Black and yellow hasn't been that popular since 2010. Grow up. It's 2020. And Sabrina, are you an akuma because your fashion sense sure looks the design of one." Marinette said.

The two stormed off and Marinette laughed. She went to go start on her gift to Chat Noir.

Felix had gotten his hands on some jewelry. He already had it just laying around, in case Ladybug accepted his feelings. It was a ruby necklace. On the back of the pendant, it said the words, "I love you M'Lady." He was going to give it to her on patrol, along with his phone number.

Marinette had made a black beanie with green paw prints, hidden, for Chat. It was fun to make, for her.
