"You keep doing that and I really will turn you into a blender." Tony pointed a screwdriver at Dum-E, giving the bot a scolding look. The bot had been fiddling around with the fire extinguisher for quite some time and Tony had pestered the robot to stop playing with otherwise there's going to be a mess. Of course, the bot never listened and now Tony had to clean up after his "child's" mess. Tony was having a somewhat rough day. It was some time after the Battle of New York when him and Pepper broke it off. They love each other but not in that way which was why nothing really clicked for them once they started dating. Tony was sweeping up some broken glass when he heard someone clear their throat, making him jump out of his skin from the unexpected presence. He turned around and clammed up when he saw the God of Mischief himself, Loki. He took a giant step back and looked around the room fearfully, trying to find any source of help for him to possibly - hopefully - escape from as his hands started to become sweaty. He looked between the God and the door, knowing his actions were noticeable but he didn't care. He gulped and took another giant step back as he wiped his sweaty palms against his dirty sweats, "w-w-wh-wh-what are y-y-you doing here?" He stuttered.
Loki had been watching the billionaire for quite some time after the attack, even a little before he attacked New York. He had his scepter in his hand, along with his helmet, and he had his "evil outfit" on. He took a small step closer to the genius and shook his head lightly, placing the scepter on one of the man's lab tables, "don't worry Tony, I'm not here to hurt you." He soothed, speaking softly to him.
Tony rose a brow at the God, tilting his head slightly, "what did you just call me?"
The God tilted his head as well, not understanding the question, "Tony... that's your name so why wouldn't I call you by your name?"
Tony made a face, looking at the God weirdly, "why you callin' me that?... what do you want Loki?"
Loki chuckled softly, "like I said, it's your name isn't it?" He smirked. "I wanted to talk to you, that's all." He spoke softly again.
"The last time we "talked" you threw me out a window." Tony snapped, still tense from the whole endeavor.
Loki's shoulders drooped at the remembrance of his actions. He took another small step towards the billionaire and frowned, "I never wanted to hurt you Tony... especially you." He spoke softly, taking another small step towards him. "I've been watching you-"
Tony took a giant step back again as he made a face and shivered slightly, not liking the idea of the God watching over him like some guardian Angel or something, "why? Ya want to learn my weaknesses or something?... for another surprise attack?" He sassed, glaring at the God.
Loki saddened, shaking his head at the accusations, "no!" He waved his hands out in front of the billionaire, "like I said, I never wanted to hurt you Tony, never you!" He walked closer to him, but saddened again when the man took another step back.
Tony made another face, shaking his body around again, "why do you keep saying that? stop it! it's weird!" He gave the God a look.
Loki made a noise, "why is it weird?"
Tony gave him a look, "because, you're the God of Mischief so quit trying to pull some weird trick on me, it's not working and it's incredibly weird." He backed into a wall and became frightened when the God walked closer to him and he didn't have anywhere else to go.
Loki shook his head again, "this isn't a trick, I promise." He crossed his heart then was a good distance away from the billionaire that he stopped moving closer. "Please don't be frightened of me, I don't like it." He frowned.
Tony furrowed his brows at the God, "why not? What do you care?" He rose a brow.
"Because, like I said, I've been watching you and I've grown to like you." Loki explained himself, taking a small step closer to the genius. "You're much different than your colleagues and any other Midgardian, you're very fascinating." Loki spoke in high regards to the billionaire as he examined him, like he did for the first time.
