The party started at exactly 7 pm, hessa looked around her surroundings, smiling, talking to shedda, she's in their table with shedda's groom, they talked about everything about the party then eloida get her, ipapakilala na daw nito sa kanya si terran na magiging partner niya,since kapatid ni travis ang lalaking tinutukoy nito, nagpatianod na lang siya papunta sa table ng mga ito

"trav, wala pa rin si ran?" umiling ang lalakin at ngumiti sa kanya pagkabaling sa kanya, "mamaya pa siguro yun hessa, just enjoy the night, you'll eventually meet him in no time"

she just smiled and get a wine glass at the table then she pourred a whiskey and drank it with full of poise, well, she is one of the successful women in manila, her restaurant has a lot of branch around the country and she's famous in her field, hindi man siya mula sa mayaman na pamilya ay may maipagmamalaki naman siya nakatapos siya ng pag aaral at ngayon ay may asensadong negosyo, nakapagpatayo na rin siya ng sariling bahay sa isang exclusive village sa manila, that's why she's so confident and already contented with her life at the age of 26,she thinks she doesn't need a man because she can provide for herself just fine but aside from that, she's so denial

ang totoo minsan ay naiinggit din siya sa mga kaibigan dahil sa masayang lovelife ng mga ito at nakapag settle na  but to think it twice ayaw niya talaga magpatali

"what's love by the way nakakain ba yun?" she marked that on her mind and to take a note she still a virgin at her age, 26

she drowned at her thoughts until eloida snaps a finger on her face and flick her temple, she glared at her and massaged her temple softly

"earth to hessa" nanunuyang sabi ni eloida, then suddenly someone caught her attention, the man in a gray suite, his long black hair is tied in a man bun and he's walking towards them smiling from ear to ear as he waved his hand to.... sinundan niya ng tingin ang tinatanaw nito...  to travis

titig na titig siya dito habang papalapit ito at may mga babaeng humaharang sa dadanan nito at binabati ito at tuwang tuwa naman nitong pinauunlakan, nag tagis ang bagang niya sa pagka asar

"do you know who's that man in a grey suit with long hair in man bun?" she asked while her gaized is nailed to the man she's talking about

"Uhmm... yeah, he is my brother hessa"

"siya si terran hessa" eloida said, she gulped and stare at him sharply

"ang punyetang damuho na yan! napagkamalan akong crew nung nakaraan sa sarili kong restaurant at napagkamalang trycicle driver papuntang barge at kaninang umaga lang napagkamalan pa kong boy dito" she said directly while greeting her teeth

"Ohh" travis said with a hint of shock, napabaling siya dito ang pinapakita nitong ekspression ng mukha ay gulat pero nababadha sa mata nito ang pagkaaliw

travis looks like a serious and disciplined agent while at the other hand, terran doesn't look like one, he looks like a damn playboy, with a flowery tounge that made for one night fantasy that promises a fairytale life pero paggising kinabukasan ay masasampal na ito ng kung sino-sinong babaeng naloko nito matapos malaman na may expiration pala ang fairytale na iyon

she greeted her teeth nang lumapit sa kanya ang lalaki para makipagbeso, she showed her palm to stopped him and stared at him blankly

"don't you even dare get near me because i will really slap you if you did" she blurted out

the man creased his brows irritated at what she said

" come again? "

" ha! don't act as if you're innocent! "

the man smirked and point himself

" do i look like a chic who took away your boyfriend, babe? because i'm sure i'm not her?"

"oh are you really sure? because i'm a hundred percent sure that it's you!" mapanuyang sinabi niya

"crazy! why are you so grumpy, you look like a vampire who wouldn't hesitate to bite me"

"oh really, then i will really bite you 'till you die an excruciating pain"

"damn! woman, i have a gun!" he said bit irritated pero may bahid pa rin ng pagkaaliw sa kulay abo nitong mga mata

she was about to fired back when her friend, eloida, shut her by covering her mouth using her hand

"yea, you should knock some sense on her" he said cooly napalingon siya dito at nakita itong pinaikot ang hintuturo sa may tainga na parang nanenenyas na nagtatanong sa kapatid nito kung may saltik ba siya

she pursed her lips as eloida drag her away from terran "hessa, stop that!"

she stared at her blankly

"hay, okay i will bring you to shedda just please don't ruin the night, ipagsawalang bahala mo na lang muna yang pagkairita mo kay terran, you look like you're really going to kill him" she said

"no thanks loida, i can walk there by myself"

"okay"

she immediatly run towards the counter, kumuha siya ng alak at ininom iyon nang lumapit sa kanya si shedda

"Hessa!" shedda said with glee umupo rin ito sa counter kaharap niya kasama nito ang matanda, si lolo fredo

ngumiti sa kanya ang matanda at pinagpawisan siya ng malamig, she smiled forcely at the old man

"hessa iwan ko muna sa'yo si lolo fredo ha? aasikasuhin lang namin ni eloida ang mga bisita

uh-oh, this might be the start of shedda's plan to put an end to my happy single life
