"You are not real country, many apologies..."
"Ugh, why won't you just bugger off?!"
"You are just a fort abandoned in the middle of the sea!!"
"I'm sorry, but I don't think you belong here."
"I suggest for you to know your place, kid."
"Yo dude, I think that it would be better if you just sit this one out and go home, little dude."
So many words. So many statements. So many excuses. So many insults.
Peter has heard it all. If he were to do so, he could make an entire novel with just listing all the things the older nations have told him...
Peter Kirkland, also known as Sealand by mortals, is a 12-year old boy. A micronation. In the eyes of many, he was nothing more than a prick. A bug. He was nobody. All his life, Peter yearned to be known by others. He yearned to be remembered. It was a long way to go. He surely was small, but he had a big heart.
It was him against the great big world. But he simply couldn't do it alone, can he?
And so, he sought out to recruit those like him. It surely was a challenge to do so, but he was able to succeed. Most of the time, his so-called 'new friends' would call him stupid and insult him too, but at least that it's not as worse as the hurtful words the older nations always throw at him.
. . .
Night falls, and it was a beautiful sight; a blank dusty canvas painted with shining stars. The sounds of crickets and the soft crackling of the fire burning - it was the kind of tranquility anyone would wish for.
The micronations were out on a little camping trip that was proposed by, of course, Peter. And at the moment, they are gathered around a camp fire - bantering the night away. Everyone was there and they were all getting along quite nicely; Jane, Romeo, Mason, Angelo, Nigel Korisk, Niko...
Peter simlpy sat there and smiled softly as he watched and listened, letting the time fly by them. He let out a soft sigh as he now realized it. It was wrong for him to befriend them with a goal in mind. He only wanted them because they will benefit him. He was selfish and now, he has learned the error of his ways.
These micronations aren't just 'friends with benefits'. He recruited them because he wanted someone to support him. Someone he can relate to. And he certainly found it.
They may be divided in many ways but they are united under the unanimous goal they share of gaining recognition and showing the world of their importance.
This is his family...
This is his home....
