The next few days were literal hell for Jungkook. He was over burdened with work. He would come at 7 in the morning and leave at 2 or 3 in night. He couldn't sleep properly; either due to the pain from the harsh beating or due to the constant heart ache when he saw the hate in the eyes of his ex-lovers directed to him. He was clearly still in love with him and regrets what he did to them greatly.
Every small mistake would result in a small beating from Taehyung and Jimin, and they would degrade him. All this caused his co-workers to hate him as well. They would talk bad about him, mess up his work (which caused Taehyung and Jimin to get mad at him) and would sometimes physically bully him as well.
Taehyung and Jimin noticed how his face day by day grew pale, his eye bags quite visible and him having no energy at all. They even saw him skipping break time to complete the work but it was still too much.
To summarize all this, Jungkook had reached his breaking point. Handling abuse at his workspace and at his home had messed him up real bad.
Yes, his father had abused him, calling him out as a pathetic son who was good-for-nothing.

On a particular worse day, Jungkook came into work as a living corpse. He couldn't sleep the night before as he had to complete some work and he had to console himself that he is not worthless. He skipped breakfast because he was running late. He had run to the office as he accidentally missed the bus. Need-less to say, he looked pathetic. (i'm sorry!!! jungkook is my bias it pains me to write like this about him ;(( ... )
He went to Taehyung's and Jimin's office, ready for a scolding.
"Do you have any idea what time it is?" Jimin spat when he saw Jungkook entering. Jungkook clearly flinched bearing his head, immediately bowing down, blubbering a mantra of sorrys.
Feeling some pity for him, Taehyung have him a huge pile of files to him to complete and dismissed him.
Jungkook was grateful he won't get a beating as he knew he would just break. But the worse was yet to come. With sluggish movements, he strolled back to his workspace and started with the work.
"Why'd you let him leave? We should have taught him a lesson." Jimin glared.
"Jimin-ah. Didnt you see him? He looks too tired. Just let him
be for once. Hopefully he doesn't make any more mistakes." Taehyung reasoned.
Jimin sighed but nodded, pecking Taehyung's lips before going back to his work.

Jungkook had completed one of the most important presentations and got up to get a coffee. But what he didn't know was that someone was schemeing something against him. As he left his workspace, one of the co-workers, Woojin, came and deleted the whole presentation. When Jungkook came back, oblivious of the situation, he started working on the other files.

<Time skip>
Jungkook was peacefully working, it was 11:50 and everyone had left except him and his bosses.
He was interrupted with his phone ringing. It was Jimin calling.

Bold-Jimin
Normal- Jungkook

"H-Hello?" Jungkook questioned nervously.
"We need the presentation now. Bring it to our office."
"Y-Yes sir!"

With that, Jungkook picked up the USB and went to the office and knocked on the door.
"Come in"
He entered and placed the USB on the desk. Taehyung picked it up and inserted it in his laptop.
"Can I g- " Jungkook was interrupted by Taehyung shouting at him.
"WHAT THE HELL JEON JUNGKOOK? YOU HAVE THE AUDACITY TO COME INTO OUR OFFICE TO SUBMIT AN EMPTY PRESENTATION?"
"w-what? no sir there must be a misunderstanding. I completed the presentation."
"OH SO YOU THINK WE'RE LYING MR JEON? THERE IS NOTHING ON THIS PRESENTATION! I KNEW YOU WERE USELESS, ALWAYS MESSING UP WORK! WHY DO YOU ENJOY RUINING EVERYONES DAY?!" This time it was Jimin.
Tears pricked in his eyes as his heart ached.
*SLAP*
His head snapped towards the side as a slap was delivered to his face. He didn't know who did it but the rings on the fingers sure hurt against his cheek.
"You are a pathetic person Jungkook. You come into everyone's life as an angel and then show your true colors. You show your true self. The evil worthless bitch. You don't even deserve any love after what you did. Was it fun? Making fun of our love? Huh? Do you enjoy it so muc- " Taehyung and Jimin took turns insulting him and he just stood there listening but not anymore. Something in him snapped and he just couldn't take it anymore.
"STOP OKAY? JUST STOP! PLEASE! I GET IT! I HURT YOU! BUT PLEASE! STOP WITH ALL THIS BULLSHIT! YOU WANAN KNOW WHY I LEFT YOU BOTH? BECAUSE MY FATHER TOLD ME THAT HE WAS GOING TO MESS UP YOUR LIVES IF I DIDN'T LEAVE YOU CUZ HE DIDN'T WANT A FAGGOT OF A SON!! DO YOU KNOW HOW IT FEELS? HAVING TO FORCEFULLY LEAVE THE ONLY ONES WHO LOVE AND CARE ABOUT YOU?  HUH? AL MY LIFE, IVE LIVED WITHOUT EVEN KNOWING WHAT LOVE IS BECAUSE NO ONE SHOWED IT TO ME! BUT FOR OMCE WHEN SOMEONE DID, MY DAD JUST TOOK IT AWAY! AND I COULDN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT BECAUSE I WAS JUST A HIGH-SCHOOL BOY! I CAN DEAL WOTH MY FATHERS ABUSE BUT PLEASE.. please don't hate me... not you both... not the only ones i love...i will do anything you say, i can work overtime, i can handle the co-workers bully but please.. ple-"
Jimin and Taehyung just stood there. Listening to their baby crying and ranting his heart out. They never knew about this. His father abusing him? They didn't know. They didn't know why Jungkook suddenly changed in highschool and left them but now that they know, they couldn't help but feel so bad. Almost as of it was their fault. But what could they have done. Jungkook never told them. They themselves were teary eyed, listening to the small boy screaming but the tears fell and their eyes widened when he suddenly collapsed to the floor, unconscious.
"j-jungkook? kookie? baby wake up!" Jimin immediately rushes to his side as Taehyung called the ambulance.

<Time skip o the hospital>
Taehyung and Jimin were in the waiting room, waiting for the doctor to come out and tell them the news. Taehyung was more restless than Jimin, but they both couldn't stop blaming themselves for this. Jimin held Taehyung s hand, they both cried in each other's embrace.
"Jimin. It's all our fault. He- He is ima hospital because of us. We hurt him so much when he was already hurting.. Jimin-ah, if something happens to him, I won't forgive myself." Taehyung cried.
"Shh. He's going to be okay. We didn't know about his situation, he never told us. Don't worry, he's going to be okay." Jimin consoled Taehyung but he himself was very worried.
About half an hour later, the doctor came out. Taehyung and Jimin rushes to his side, asking about Jungkook.
"He's fine now. He fainted due to being very weak. As if he hadn't eaten anything in days. And his dark eye balls clearly indicate he's not been getting enough sleep. We have given him an IV drip, it will help bring energy and nourishment to his body. Currently he's sleeping but there's something I wanted to talk about. His body is littered with bruises and scars. We have patched them up but you have to be careful with them. Other than that, he's okay. We will discharge him when he wakes up as his life is not dangered so you can take him home. For now you can go to his room."
You could see the heart break on their faces. They remember in highschool, how Jungkook would always be so excited to meet them, hopping here and there, smiling his bunny smile. Oh how they missed his smile.
After thanking the doctor, Taehyung and Jimin made their way to Jungkook's room. When they got in, they broke down, seeing Jungkook's fragile body in this condition hurt them so bad.
However, they were broken from their thoughts when they heard a groan from their baby.
Immediately rushing to his side, they checks upon him. As soon  as Jungkook's eyes met with them,  fear took over him.
"Why didn't you tell us before huh? We could have done something about your father." Taehyung cried out, holding one of Jungkook's hand while Jimin held the other.
"U-Uh.." Jungkook didn't know what to say. But he was soon stopped when a pair of lips met with his. His eyes widened seeing Taehyung kissing him. And almost instantly he melted in the kiss. As soon s Taehyung pulled away, he was pulled in a kiss with Jimin. After breaking up for breath, a deep blush coated all their faces.
"I-umm, U-uhh we umm wanted to apologize to you. About everything that we did."
"It's ok. I would have been mad too."
And this resulted in another breakdown and a group hug.

It has been a year since that incident and now, the poly couple is living with pure happiness. Jungkook loved in with his boyfriends. Jimin and Taehyung proposed to him as well, and their wedding was soon. Jungkook was now the happiest he has ever been, surrounded by all the people he loves.
"Thank you mom." Jungkook said as he smiled towards he sky.
"Hey Jungkook! Come on the party's about to start." Jimin called after him.
He went out and immediately went into he embrace of his lovers, looking at all the people at the alert. A satisfied grin conquered his face and a contented dish left
his lips. He was finally happy. This is all he ever wanted.
