4: Sister Over Mate

Kimiya POV

Once class was over, I went back to my locker to put my things and get ready for home. I heard a 'ding' on my phone. I took it out and it was my sister. 

'Hey, you back home yet?'

'Not yet. I'm putting out my stuff then I'm heading straight home.'

'Alright be safe and make sure no one is following you'

'Okay'

I close my locker and turn to find the girl previously jump in front of my face which startled me.

"Oops sorry haha, didn't mean to startle you. I'm Helena, Colson's sister" she put out her hand for me to shake. I look at it for a moment, hesitant to reach but I slowly did anyway. Makes sense that she looks like Colson, they both have the same eyes, and her face feature looks somewhat familiar. Helena looks at me like she's waiting for something.

"Ummm, normally people say their name back after someone introduces themselves soo..." She moves her body side by side. I grip my stuff tightly as I didn't want to have this conversation any further. She looks at me with her curious eyes and-

"You can talk....right?"

I look at her again, thinking whether I should even though I know I am not supposed to. She's friendly but...then looks can be deceiving. I just put up an act showing that I am embarrassed about not being able to talk. And I think she bought it the moment she gasps.

"Omg, I am so sorry. I didn't mean to be rude! I-"

I cut her off by shaking my head and hold her arm as an assurance that I take no offense..which I am not, at all...She had that guilty look on so bad it made me chuckle. 

"It's not funny!! Oh, how am I gonna tell him...?" After the part she said funny, her words became a whisper after that. I gave her the 'huh' look and she just went nothing. I just wrote on the piece of paper 'I'm Kimiya but I got to go. Nice meeting you.' After I pass her the note, I just bolt from there before she could even stop me.

I walk home with my earphones on but with no music. I focus on my hearing and I can hear someone is running past the forest or should I say, something...I look at the forest area with my night vision (my eyes tend to glow when I do so), and true enough, I see shadows of something running fast....in wolf form. Looks like they came in packs. I realized a couple of them halt the moment I stop awhile to 'tie my shoes' which cleared my suspicion. They are following me. 

So I keep on walking until I see a corner that's away from the forest view. The moment I turn, I look back to make sure they're not behind me and I teleport to the top of the building beside me. I duck down to make sure they don't see me up here. True enough, a couple of buff guys show up at the corner.

"Where the hell did she go?"

"She can't just disappear out of thin air!"

"Let's just find her before the Alpha loses his shit!"

"You go there while we search here! Go!"

And they went their separate ways. I see the coast is clear and I jump down from the building, landed softly on both feet. I go back in the same direction I came from and head on home. I could just teleport home-like duhhh but it depends on the distance as well. It's a 20minutes walk so to teleport from here to there, it's gonna drain me for good. Besides, a quiet walk is what I need from today's activity. Ugh. I reach home and take off my earphone and close the doors behind me. I can hear the kitchen making some noise and head there to see my sister is preparing dinner for me. She places a line of *GASP* SUSHIIIIII!!!! I clap my hand with excitement and start digging in with the chopstick my sister pass. I moan in satisfaction. It's been a long time since I ate sushi. Masako chuckled upon my reaction.
