Know before you read

Hello, guys! 

At first I didn't think it was necessary, but I believe it is more than fair to leave a note clarifying a few things about this book, especially for those who were interested in the synopsis and were encouraged to read.

Well, Feathers on the Way is a personal writing project for a novel that suddenly invaded my mind.

I realized that the Google Docs Layout - where I normally write - bothered me a lot during the writing and I migrated here. I've been testing writing for some time inside Wattpad through drafts.

The reason?

I believe my Designer eyes are pretty demanding for some things and I decided to try writing the story here. And it worked! Four chapters have come out to the present day (11/26), but I haven't published the majority, besides that the whole story was in Portuguese. But not anymore.

Wattpad's word count and organization help me a lot, but writing in English is even better for me.

What is important to know before you start reading?

1. I have no idea when I will finish this book:

It is happening organically and the publication of chapters is part of my process as well. It is important for me to understand the reception of the story and I also feel a little peace of mind when I finish a new part.

2. There is no update schedule:

I am not going to tell you that I will publish chapters this or that day at such and such an hour. This is a novel that is just happening and if there are consecutive updates within a short time, mere momentary inspiration.

I recommend that you save the book in the library and leave it to read only when there are a good number of chapters.

3. The whole book is set in South Korea and the protagonism is entirely asian:

In addition to being a designer, I am a student of Asian languages ​​such as Korean and Japanese, and I also need to stick to my Japanese course if I want to pass. Anyway, my interest in Asian countries is not a new thing. I am from the time of the release of Boys Over Flowers, I fell in love with Super Junior's Siwon in 2010 and it could even be embarrassing to tell you how many manga - speaking now of Japanese POP Culture - I have at home hehehehe It is a side of me that who followed me years ago didn't have much access to, but I didn't live on One Direction alone.

Still, I'm not a Kpop enthusiast. At least not really. I stopped at Super Junior, Shinee and EXO. South Korea's entertainment attracts me a lot more when we talk about K Dramas or Doramas, as most people call it. For this reason, some of my favorite actors will "act" as my characters in this work of fiction.

But when you start reading, think that you are watching a drama. It is not about the artists only, but about their characters, their personalities and relationships. The actors are only here to bring them to life and contribute to their physical characteristics.
