1-Meeting Cameron

Today was the day that I would see Cameron for the first time face to face. We met online and started chatting almost a year ago. I know your probably thinking 'she could be a rapist'. She isn't, I know because we facetime and call each other almost everyday. She's 2 years older than me but somehow I get along better with older people. I was invited by Cameron and her brothers to come to this vine meet up and Im so excited! I cant wait to see her.

"Miss, were here" The cab driver said pulling up in front of a huge building where the vine meet up was being held. I thanked him quietly and climbed out after handing the cab driver some money. I grabbed my suitcase and pulled on my backpack as the cab began to drive away and then at the main door I noticed hundreds of girls screaming and crying to meet everyone. How was I supposed to get in? I guess it was too good to be true. I quickly thought of an idea and pulled out my phone calling Cameron. It took her a while to answer and I was just about to hang-up on her.

"Hey what's up boo?" she called through the other end of the line. You could practically hear her excitement through the phone. I sighed looking at the group of girls once again. "How am I supposed to get in? There's a bunch of crying girls out front." She just laughed. Once she was finished laughing she replied. "Start walking to the back of the building, I'll let you in through the back door" I nodded and then mentally face palmed myself as she wouldn't know I was nodding. I hung up and then I did as instructed and walked around the back of the building until I was in front of two large doors.

The door opened and there stood a boy around my age with a big smile on his face. I have to admit he was pretty cute. He opened the door wider so I could walk through and I thanked him beginning to look for Cameron. "Delilah!" Cameron said running over and hugging me tightly. I just laughed and hugged her back, putting my bags on the floor. "Oh my gosh, you have to come meet the vine family" She said excitedly as she led me into a large room with 6 people sitting on a long sofa. "Delilah meet Andrea Russette, Kenny Holland, Jake Paul, Matthew Espinosa and my brothers Ethan and Grayson. I hugged everyone one by one until I got to her brothers.

They were twins and I recognised the shorter one from earlier when he let me in. I hugged them both but for some reason I got butterflies. "I need to show you our room" Cameron said and picked up my bag leading me out of the room. "Wait for me, my legs are too short" I whined running after her. As I caught up with her we walked down the hall and she opened the second last door on the right. She put my stuff on the floor while I ran and jumped onto the bed. "Im so tired" I groaned. She laughed. "So how was the flight?" Cameron asked pulling her long brown hair into a ponytail. "Long and boring" I smiled and she smiled back.

Before I could say anything else Ethan and Grayson barged in and plopped themselves onto the other bed. "So we finally get to meet Cameron's best friend" Grayson teased and Cameron stuck out her tongue at him making me giggle. "Oh so you think that's funny?" Grayson joked pretending to be fake hurt. I laughed once again and then pulled out my phone. I accidently hit play and 'I love the way' by Ariana Grande played where I left off. "I love it" Ethan sang along as I hit pause making me smile.

Ethan pulled out his phone and looked at it for a few seconds before looking back up at us. "Mom wants us ready for the meet-up soon." Grayson said after looking down at Ethan's phone as well taking the words right out of Ethan's mouth. The boys stood up and left to their room to get changed while Cameron just shuffled through her suitcase for something to wear. I pulled out my suitcase as well and pulled out one of my favorite outfits (top) pulling it on.

I quickly put on some eyeliner and mascara before looking over at Cameron who was still having troubles picking out an outfit. I giggled and walked over to the pile of clothes now laying on her bed. I grabbed a cute crop top and shorts and threw them at her. "Okay, okay, I'll wear this" she said quickly changing. I slipped my phone into my pocket and pulled Cameron out of the room closing it behind us. "So where do we go now?" I asked and she quickly answered. "The big room with the sofa" I nodded and we walked into the room which was practically empty except for the 'vine family'. "Hey Delilah! I love your outfit" Andrea said running up and hugging me.

"Thanks, I do too" I laughed joking obviously. I sat down alongside Cameron and behind everyone as they all sat down in chairs behind a long table. I pulled out my phone and got a few pictures with everyone and then the doors opened and the room was flooded with teenage girls crying and screaming. The sound of their screaming made me cringe and I could tell that Ethan had notice because he quietly asked if I was okay while rubbing my arm soothingly. I just nodded untruthfully. I've never been good with crowds and that was my one and only fear. I could jump off a cliff and not care but when it came to crowds I just couldn't handle it. Ethan quickly hugged me and then turned back to his fans with a huge smile on his face.

I looked over at Cameron with teary eyes and suddenly her face showed recognition. "The crowds really big, Im sorry, I forgot" She said and hugged me. I wiped away my tears and nodded saying it was fine. I took a deep breath and watched as the crowd got smaller and smaller. I was starting to feel better when a whole new wave of girls flew into the room. Then Ethan whispered something to the security guard and then the security guard yelled "We will be taking a quick 5 minute break" Before we all walked out the other doors and into another little room with a few chairs.

"Hey are you okay?" Ethan said pulling my chin up to look at him. I nodded and wiped another tear away. "Im just scared of crowds" I said and he nodded pulling me into another hug. "Do you want to go back to your hotel room or do you think you will be okay?" He asked and I shrugged my shoulders. "What if you go back to your room and watch a few movies and take a nap? I know you should be exhausted from your flight" I smiled at what he said and told Cameron what I was doing before heading back to our room. I plopped onto the bed and turned on a movie almost falling asleep instantly.
