(Y/n)'s pov
As I cracked my eyes open, I was faced with the permeating brightness of an LED that was hovering over me. I promptly sealed my eyes to evade going color blind from the light. Murmuring, I scrutinized my surroundings and made an evaluation in which I reasoned that I was at a hospital. 'what just happened?,' I inquired inwardly, 'was it just my imagination?' Sighing, I pushed the call switch that remained stationed at the side of my mattress. Almost instantaneously I could detect hastened footsteps directing towards my quarters. I anticipated unabatingly for the doctor's appearance, however, when the drapes were breached, I was met face to face with a towering, silver-gilt haired male, with owlish golden eyes. He was wearing a sports outfit and appeared to be out of breath from his brisk stride to my domain.
I assumed he had mistakably got the incorrect quarters until I saw his eyes started to water. He rushed over to me and clutched my hand, grasping onto it for precious life, as he sobbed. Although I did not recognize him, I was touched with empathy at his delicate state. Something about him just reminded me of (y/s/n). I tenderly tapped his shoulder prompting him to gaze up at me with tear stricken orbs. With the most delicate smile I could assemble, I uttered my next statements as soothingly as I could.
"Hey... it's okay...I'm okay"
I did not grasp what I was speaking, yet somehow I sensed that was the best thing to state. It appeared to comfort him as he let out a loud sob. More tears overflowed his eyes (A/n: When the character that is always smiling cries it hits different) as he sat down on the furniture that was nearby my bed. He deposited himself down on my lap and proceeded to weep. All I could do was rub rings around his back and murmur sweet nothings in an endeavor to soothe him.
Some time progressed and his breathing relaxed and with it his tears. Once his crying ceased, he peered at me and grinned gleefully. Now that I was seizing a more meticulous look at him, I could have affirmed that I have seen him already, but I do not know where. I hummed at the idea. I was about to inquire who he was but was interrupted by the noise of my drapes opening up again. This time, I was received with three people. Two males and one female. One of the male figures had a stethoscope around his neck and was wearing a traditional white coat with a clipboard in his grip. It was reliable to assume that he was the doctor. The other two appeared to be a couple ruling by the reality that they both possessed rings on their ring fingers and were holding hands. The male had silverish hair that reached his shoulders and light blue cores. He was clothed casually in some black jeans with a blue t-shirt and sneakers. The female wore a simplistic turtle neck floral dress that reached to her knees with some flats. She had long black locks that flowed elegantly behind her. Her eyes were a goldish color and she bore an anxious expression.
Similar to the boy before them, they were breathing heavily and an expression of surprise adorned their features. The male that was, still, holding my hand, glanced up at them and delivered a hearty, yet silent, merry laugh. "Mom, Dad, look," he then shifted to me and gave me a gentle smile, "she's awake." That seemed to have convinced them that I was indeed real, or something comparable to such, because they broke down and ran up to me and submerged me in their embrace, tears of happiness streaming down their faces. " My baby! It's okay...Mommy's got you...your okay thank goodness!!" the woman sobbed. My eyes widened at what she said.
" Mom?...Dad?" I murmured noiselessly.
Tears commenced glossing my eyes as I understood what had just transpired. 'I really did die didn't I?' I thought gloomily. 'I won't be able to see my real parents again, or my brother and sisters, or (f/n)...' my thoughts dawdled as I felt my heart-shattering. I began to tremble; my emotions overhauling me. I sensed a gentle hold on my shoulder and I glanced upward to see the silver-haired and golden-eyed male that came into my room first. He looked at me with troubled orbs and asked me something that made me collapse into my emotions.
" Are you okay onee-chan?"
I felt all my defenses crumble down in that instant and I let out a choked sob until it became full-blown wailing. I sprang into his arms, squeezed him for dear life, and I screamed. At first, he was a bit surprised but he then lamented peacefully and returned the embrace. I sank my face into his neck and freed all the disturbances that have been bottled up over the years in the form of tears. I heard him sniffle and clutched onto him even tighter. Soon enough he started crying again. I felt four additional arms wrap around us. It was the wedded couple, and my apparent, new mother and father. Feeling the familiar warmth of the two I started to sob even more. We had a full-on family cuddle session.
I proceeded to wail until I ran out of tears and my body gave up on me. My breathing slackened and I felt myself dozing off in the hands of my new brother. I evoked the statements that the voice had spoken to me ere I ended up here.
'"I'll give you another chance, take it, and this time make the most of it, okay......(Y/n)"
' I think I'll take you up on that, whoever you are. I (Y/n) promise to make the most of this opportunity that you have given me. I don't plan on letting go any time soon. I think I will enjoy it here, wherever 'here' is. Mom, dad, (O/s/n), (O/b/n), (Y/s/n), (F/n)...you don't have to worry about me. I'm okay. I apologize for not saying goodbye, I didn't have much time you see.,' I giggled to myself, ' Oh, and whoever gave me this chance, ...
