Bright sun, bittersweet and hot. The start of the warmest season had just begun where people can relax and have fun. Though it only applies to the few most peaceful places of Runeterra, if there's one. The world where the equilibrium is lost and now, conflict blooms. It was so unbalanced that the weak suffers and the powerful abuses.
In the outskirts of Demacia's inner villages, mages lurks behind the shadows. Passing through elite guards using their illusions, scavenging any food and resources to survive. It's been so long since the proclaim of forbidding the use of magic and to cleanse the city from affliction. To cleanse the city from affliction. The phrase may sound like a simple clean up but it deceives the true intention of the higher ups. Since then, the capital city of Demacia was caged in petricite - a peculiar white/grayish stone that dampens any kind of magical energy, to their nightmares of the previous war, the infamous, Rune Wars. The kingdom is said to be in its golden age but the people living at the outer walls says otherwise. To this day, the powerful continues to decline outsiders unless they are given permission by the prestigious people living inside the walls. With the death of King Jarvan III, they shut down almost all of its entrance into the capital city, leaving only the trading system open. It's a corrupted way of abusing the people outside the wall who provide the resources. Anyone who opposed them will be exterminated right at the moment.
Demacia lies beyond the representation of what the kingdom really stands for, Justice.
