The usual chattering and stomping of horses echoed in a Friday morning around the capital city. It's safe to assume that the Land of Justice could be considered as one of the peaceful place if it disregards the turmoil that the country has been experiencing currently. But not many people was as pleased as Luxanna Crownguard to wake up early especially after being suspended by the Court. If there was one thing that bothered her the most about the castle's system, it was how they felt they can just make decisions for her and control her life in such an unnecessary way. She understood that being a member of one of the prestigious families of Demacia should retain the grace and honor of the former members though there are certain rules that she had mind, a few she could play with as long as she keeps her sanity at bay but not having the right to say anything about her own engagement was beyond ruthless. Sure this is just the beginning of her playing the role of Lady Crownguard, soon will be passed down by her mother. Next was Military Service which where she's at the moment, then the selection of noble ladies that needs to be engaged with the King and, soon to be married. That part scared her the most, the higher ups already has their eyes heated at her and with no doubt, she expected herself to be picked out to be with Jarvan. She hated all of it. She hates how they can be that desperate just by simply being privileged and that's just ridiculous, no exaggeration intended.

Obviously, she was averse of the king's idea of suspending her even from work for like, three months. As of now, she was alone at their garden. Well, not literally alone since Garen was standing by the huge well trimmed bushes near the fountain. He was assigned to keep her accompany as her personal guard for a temporary time until they'd hire a suitable person for the job. She didn't budge to bring the subject up again as she was so tired last night arguing with her brother about that matter.

It was quiet, just the weak gust of wind blowing against the swaying leaves, there she decided to practice her magic. Any possible hidden place in their mansion where she can cast magic but chose here instead. Garen let out a grunt, annoying the frustrated light mage even more.

"Luxanna, just what are you trying to do? Performing your magic right here at the mansion?" Garen uttered impulsively.

"Yes brother, I'm choosing violence on a breezy morning, if that's all what you want to know." The young blonde mage vigorously replied then cast a brighter ball of light.

"How reckless can you be? You know I wouldn't be able to cover you up this time." Garen walked towards his sister and grabbed her wrist before she can do magic.

Luxanna gave Garen the most terrific death glare at him before turning her back at him and head inside. The First Shield just sighed out of frustration, rubbing his forehead.

Naturally, Luxanna wasn't fond of the whole idea that the noble houses do to their daughters when they hit the right age. Adding up the situation with the higher ups against the Crownguard family, she couldn't bear herself to stay sane at this time. While walking along the hallway, Aunt Tianna was talking with a maid. Her stomping startled the elder Crownguard and turned towards her.

"Perfect timing, Luxanna."

"What is it you want this time, Auntie?" The mage crossed her arms across her chest and gave Tiana a weary face as Tianna opened a white scroll.

"Rudeness is not necessary, my child. I'm just here to inform you that the elite guards encountered a group of mages disguised in a muddy brown cloak at the village near the inner gates. The officials supposed that they are trying to get near the Crownguard girl, specifically pertaining to you," Tianna then closed the scroll without finishing the whole document. "The higher ups are planning to raise up the security around the walls and... around the manor."
