The appointment had finally finished and now Shota and I were both back in our car, driving home. It had been silent the whole time after the check-up, but I was too out of it myself to actually start a conversation with the man next to me. My never-ending thoughts had finally stopped, and now I sit here looking at the cars zooming past on my right.

On the other hand, as I looked at my loving husband, Shota Aizawa, I finally noticed the dazed but cheerful look on the man's face. A look of confusion and curiosity made its way onto my face, 'Just what is that man thinking?' I snickered to myself, naming the endless possibilities of Shota's face being happy rather than his usual stoic expressions.

He hummed and tapped his fingers to a random beat, 'I wonder how much I'll love my two kids? Would I be able to do that?' I saw his facial expression turn into one of worry, 'Can I really protect and lo-'

"Shota!" My voice interrupted his thoughts as he slammed the breaks, barely stopping in front of pedestrians walking across the pitch-black asphalt. I released a shaky breath and turned to the man next to me, "What were you thinking of that made you almost kill somebody?"

The male remained quiet, except for his staggered breathing, staring straight into the road with a tense body. I shook my head, "Jesus Shota, let's..." I exhaled breathlessly, "Let's just go home." I touched his arm softly and hesitantly, making sure not to scare the man even more.

Luckily, my husband just relaxed at my touch and began to drive once again; taking his foot off the brake pedal slowly, then moving it to the gas pedal peacefully. His shoulders loosened from their tight position close to his ear to their normal spot and he shook his head, "Sorry, sorry," he muttered.

I shook my head again and laughed a breathless chuckle, "It's okay-" I removed my hand from his arm, "You just had me worried there for a second." Shota nodded silently and focused his full attention on the road without another word, quietly forgetting about the near-death experience seconds ago.

My feet pattered against the hardwood floors as I made my way across our shared home. Shota and I had finally gotten home after a long, quiet drive and I, personally, was done for the day.

As I made my way up the few steps that led towards the bedroom with my jean jacket halfway off, I heard a loud sigh from behind me. My head immediately whipped behind me to stare at my husband who looked in distress.

The man was leaning his body against the grey-colored couch, and a look of discomfort on his face. One of his large hands was on his forehead, while his eyes closed tightly, scrunching his whole face up.

I hurriedly dropped the jacket I had in hand and rushed to his side, examining him for who knows what. My hands made their way to his muscular biceps, squeezing lightly, "What's wrong? Are you okay? Are you hurt?"

He chuckled and shook his head while opening his mouth. Though before he could speak, he winced and stopped moving. He sighed, "No-...well kind of..." Shota looked up to meet my eyes, though his were squinting, "I have a headache from stressing myself out too much."

I shook my head with a frown etched onto my features, "Shota, you know you shouldn't do this to yourself!" I scolded, but sighed and brought my hands up to his cheeks. I turn his head to look at me fully, "You can always talk to me Shota, especially if something is wrong."

His voice sighed and he wrapped his arms around my torso, burying his face into my chest, clutching the fabric of my white shirt at the back with his hands. Right away, I hugged him around his arched back.

I felt him release a shaky breath, sending vibrations into my body. I combed through his unruly locks with one hand, "Can you tell me what's wrong?" I whispered down to him.

"I-... I don't know how I'll be able to protect and love all three of you." He voiced out to me with a stressed and shaky voice, his face still hidden in my chest.

I chuckled quietly, making him let go of his hold on me slightly to look up at my smiling figure. I shook my head again for the thirtieth time that day and looked straight back at him, "Shota, honey, I love you, but you and I both know that you are one of the strongest people out there. Of course, you'll be able to protect me and our children...Look-" I grabbed one of his hands, guiding him toward my bloated abdomen, "You're doing it right now. And, even giving all of us the warmth that we need." I smiled lovingly up at his now standing figure, while he, himself stared at his hand that ran across my stomach.

My body unconsciously leaned forward, as my hands guided themselves back to his stubby chin. Quickly, my lips met his in a tender and warm kiss. Both of us moved rhythmically with one another as his own hands found their way to my waist, pulling me flush against his body. I found myself smiling into the kiss, for I could feel the heat radiating off the man that I loved with all my heart.

We stayed there for a while, giving each other as much love as we could through our actions. Eventually, both of us parted, with our mouths panting from the intense kiss. My husband smiled charmingly down at me, as did I to him, and he gave one last peck to my cheek to end our session.

But before either of us could do anything, the doorbell rang. Shota groaned, "Great. And my headache had just gone away."

I smiled sympathetically to him and ran my pale hand over his face to try and calm him. "I'll go get some medi-"

A loud voice interrupted my sentence along with some obnoxious knocking on the door, "HEY! HEY YOU GUYS, LET ME IN!"

'Ah, of course...' I thought to myself. My husband and I eyed each other carefully, not exactly wanting to deal with the loud, extroverted blonde that we had as a friend.

I took a deep breath, readying myself for anything that was to come and walked to the door. Immediately after unlocking and opening the door, I found myself knocked to the floor with the pro hero, Present Mic, squeezing the life out of me while on top.

I smiled weakly, "Hey Hizashi...could you get off of me?"

A/N: Yay! Another update is done for this book! This chapter was shorter than all the rest, as it only had 1117 words (not including the author's note). I hope that's okay with all of you! I just felt the need to stop where I did, so...

Anyway, this chapter was again very short and was kind of a filler chapter. Pretty much the only thing that happened was the story moving along, and some more character development for the two of them.

I hope you all enjoyed and I love you all! I wish you the best day ever tomorrow!
