~Chapter 14~

~Clay~

     It's been awhile. I mean, George is now a couple months in, belly bigger, and cuter. I was thinking about proposing to him, before the baby, but I wanted to wait till are little muffin is out of the womb. "Shit, we're late. Clay!" I snap out of my thoughts, "Wha? Oh God, ok move, let's go let's go." I say. We rush to the car, I opened Georges door. He slid in, and I closed the door behind him. I run to the drivers seat and buckle up. "Clay, we are 10 minutes late. Move your ass." George says. I wheeze and step on the gas. As we come closer to our destination I hear George say, "Oooo, Clay." "Hmm?"

     "Can we get a chocolate milkshake, after?" He asks. "Yea we can go and get some food for you." I glace over to see him pumping his fist in the air in excitement, I laugh and keep driving. We finally arive at the hospital for George's appointment. "I'm excited." I hear my tiny omega say. " I am excited too, we finally get to see what the gender the little babe is." I say back. I get out, and go to open George's door. We walk into the the hospital, and go to the check-in. "Hello, what may I help you with?" The frontier asks. "We have an ultrasound exam for George Davidson." I say.

     She types something on her computer and says, "Ok please take a seat, a nurse will be there to take you back in a few minutes." We both walk over to the chairs, and take a seat and wait for the nurse.

     "George Davidson." I hear my name being called. "Yes, I'm hear." I slowly get up and slip my hand in Clays. "Alrighty, if you would like to follow me to the back room." She says leading us to the room where people get ultrasounds. "Can you please take a seat and relax." The nurse says, then a different person comes in "My name is Dr. Milly, I will be doing your exam today." I nod I response, "I'm going to have you lay back." She said typeing on the computer. I do as I'm told, still holding Clay's hand. "Ok George, can you please lift your shirt, so that I can see you stomach." She asks.

     I pull my shirt up with my free hand. "I'm going to put some of this blue gel on your belly, it will feel a little cold." I nod. As she pours the gel, I wince at the coldness. I hear Clay chuckle, "You know, you would have the same reaction if you were the one who was doing this." I say laughing. "Ok, I'm going to take this, and rub it around. This is the camera to see the baby." I look over to the doctor and smile a little. She starts to move the thing around, "Aww, so f you look at the screen here, that's your little baby." Clay and I both look at the screen, I slightly squeeze his hand. I feel tears fall from my eyes, "Babe, are you ok?" I look over to Clay and say, "Yea, my eyes are just sweating." I laugh.

     "Do you gentlemen want the gender of the baby, or do you want to keep it a secret." I look over to Clay, he nods at me. "We would like to have the gender of the baby." I turn my attention back to the doctor, "Congratulations you are having a baby girl." I look over to Clay and shake his hand. "I'm going to go print out the pictures so that you can have them." The doctor says, "Clay." I say, "Yes?" He says back. "Can we get a milkshake now." I say in a serious voice, Clay wheezes and says, "Yes we can babe." I laugh with him. We get the pictures and the shake then head home. "Thank you Clay." I say looking over to him, I feel like crying for some reason. And that's exactly what I do,

     "Woah, woah hey what happened. Are you ok?" Clay asks. "I j-just want to watch How to Train your Dragon, and drink my milkshake, and eat popcorn too." Clay laughs so hard that he falls to the ground. "Baby, it's not funny." I start to cry more, "Hey hey, it's ok. Here sit down, I'll go make popcorn and then we can watch the movie, alright?" I nod, and go sit on the couch. A couple minutes pass and I'm sitting in between Clays legs. He has his hands on my belly, rubbing to relieve some of the pain. I fall asleep during the movie, I'm guessing Clay did too. We both sleep on the couch for the night.
